great item for the price-very versatile

You can play c.d.'s watch movies and it even plays vhs tapes. she uses it to keep up on her recorded soap operas.We hooked it up to a nice receiver and speakers and it sounds really good.

Great to know these are still being made even if they are considered ancient. This is great product.

Just what I needed to bridge the tech gap.

We did not want to transfer them to a DVD because the cost would have been enormous (she has a lot of VHS tapes) and we did not want to just throw them away. This Magnavox VHS/DVD player fit the bill and fixed the problem perfectly. It was very easy to install and set up. We now enjoy our old VHS tapes as well as newer DVDs.
