When I first used the player it worked fine. THEN things just went down hill. Lets be honest, not evryone wants to dish out over $100 on blu-ray but I would suggest to just save and get a brand new one. The product first would fail to load the main menu options but would play the video and sound but not options. I have never seen that happen before until now. Then it started taking longer to load the blu-ray disk's main menu and finally it would stop almost at the end of the movie and take me back to the main menu every time and made a lot of noise (could hear the disk spinning). I got so fed up I returned it with in 2 days. It did have good picture and was so simple to set up but that was the only thing going for it. Luckily I'm saving for the new blu-ray 3D player coming out in April. No referbs. the one i got was defective and I don't want to take that chance again, it's just an inconvenience.

I don't know how many times we can get hyped into spending all kinds of money for "top-notch" players. This happened with DVD and now it's happening with Blu-ray. I'm a pretty geeky guy and I have a really good attention to detail (better than anyone I know by far) and I honestly can't see why you would need a pretentious Blu-ray player. Your money is best spent on the actual TV, but even that you don't need to spend a ton of money on. But anyhow, you know this product, it's a DVD player but can play blu-ray disks. It's not a new concept by any means. If you have an HDTV and don't have a blu-ray player you're missing out, though the initial thrill wears off and I find that I can enjoy a DVD nearly as much as a blu-ray. But if you spent over $1,000 on your TV and don't have a blu-ray, you're likely more into the status symbol of it all and not actually aware of image quality. I don't care what HDTV you have, blu-ray is the only way to display its full quality.

Great refurbished item! It plays the same as the expensive Blu-Ray players. Only that is not great about is its reaction time. It takes some time to start up and get to the menu screens on the DVD's. The remote also seems to have a lot of useless buttons but that comes with almost every remote. Overall good item.

This delivers all it's supposed to. The picture quality is great, and the price made it a good value.

This is a good product and the price was great...just too good to be true. It moves soo slow thru commands it breaks my heart, its going back for an upgrade.

This is the best purchase I've made this year. This is a steal @ $89.00. You'd never know it was refurbished! And I've had absolutely no problems so far.

For this refurbished unit, the price is OK. It arrived with no scratches at all just like brand new. I'm satisfied with its performance and features.

Received on time as promised. Works great, exceptional clarity when using the HDMI cable. Well worth the price!!
