Magnet not very strong

Magnetic too weak

The spring jaws are okay, but the magnetic base is very weak. I would not trust it to hold my Hero 8 Black, or any other GoPro action camera to anything metal. One good bump or jolt and you've just damaged or lost your camera. It slides to easily on anything metal that is painted, if you bump it (while attached vertically ) it falls off. I tested it without the camera of course. I'll stick with the magnetic mount I made myself using the magnets from a hard disk drive and a Gopro adhesive camera mount.

Not very strong magnet.
