Yes, the best. I was distraught when the Closer ended, having lost the best actress on TV, Kyra Sedgwick, someone decided to carry it on, but with a different lead. With the spin-off, Major Crimes, taking over, I was sure it would not hold up the same writing or acting standards. Dead wrong. I admit it. The program may not be better, but it's hard to top near perfection. It's all about the writing. Nothing unrealistic. No relentless breaking of every law in the name of artistic license. No police brutality as a plot device. Just captivating stories acted by a group of actors you will unlikely have seen before. Not all 20 something models playing at detective. Just well done, captivating, and completely re-watchable because you like the characters, believe the stories, and are willing to let them back into you home again and again. Major complaint about Major Crimes. WHY NOT BLU-RAY?! Cause we're too cheap to buy it? Unlikely. We're already buying 4K disks. More a case of the network wanting to re-release it later with the improved media and see if we'll double-purchase. Pretty cynical.

Major Crimes is a smart and intelligent crime drama with an excellent cast! A spinoff of The Closer with Kira Sedgwick. When The Closer ended Major Crimes continued with most of the cast in tact. Acting is top notch. Fans of this show should also check out The Closer.

"Major Crimes" continues to be an exceptional example of how to continue to engage your audience with plot twists and interesting characters. Thankfully, the characters continue to grow and change to maintain the interest of their viewing audience.

Best Buy is my favorite place to go for DVDs because they always have what I'm looking for either in store or online; and my husband and I agree they also have the best selection of DVDs!

This is such a great series. It has drama, excitement, great characters and great story line. I love the cast and their interaction in every episode. It is highly recommended by me.

Had to have it. I've been following this show from the beginning and love it. The characters are funny and cohesive. Can't wait for next season!

This series keeps getting better. A lot of the episodes I caught myself saying I didn't see that coming . I hope this is around for awhile.

I saw some of the original shows, but did not open up this gift before giving it to someone. I liked the show.

I've seen and purchased all the previous 4 seasons of Major Crimes. I love the series. The 5th season isn't the same. I'm wondering if they have new writers. There are subtle changes in the characters personalities. I still like the show. But I didn't love this season like I did the others.

I've been a fan of this group since the Closer Season One. It just keeps getting better!
