I watched this series when it was on tv. And I have watched my dvds as of today 6 times through. Starting with the 7 seasons of the Closer and the 6 of Major Crimes. I never get tired of them and am sorry that they ended the series.

At first I was disappointed, the characters seemed tired and labored, the script was lagging and no one seemed to be in sink. They looked like robots preforming on cue, their ever-ready batteries remained in the red. By the time I got to disk 3 the scrip became snappy and tense. Actors seemed to loosen up and connect. The wit and camaraderie from the old series was spinning again into a complex relationship of good guy versus bad guy. My first impression was not to finish the series but I got hooked by the third disk and finished the series ready to purchase the next season. I call this redemption.

Continues the story line that began with The Closer and continued on to Major Crimes introducting some new characters but continuing most of the "old gang" of detectives. Some bursts of action but is more of a police procedural in the true sense of that genre where clues are offered and the crime is solved with steady work rather than a single burst of action. Great show & great additional to any collection.

I didn't watch this show when it first came out. I figured I would not like it as much as The Closer. A friend finally convinced me to give it a shot and I am hooked. I like it more than the Closer. Each season it seems to get better than the prior. Picture and sound quality is excellent considering it is not Blu-ray.

When ever I am looking for older TV Shows or the newest Drama Series on DVD, this is the place to find what I'm are looking for. I always get my packages long before the date stated when I get the shipping notification e-mail.

I enjoyed The Closer and Major Crimes pick-up where the The Closer series left off went the same cast members.

Season 4 is a great continuation of Major Crimes. The cases are interesting, and the personal storylines this season are also really great.

Great TNT's Closer spin-off Major Crimes. Great cast and story line. Every year the show gets better and better. Can't wait for next season.

I came to this show late, mainly because I was not a fan of The Closer, but this one is much better, and well worth the purchase.

Major Crimes is by far my favorite TV series, I love every episode and can't wait for the next season to start! Well worth the purchase!

I wish I had cable, so I could watch this show every week. I would STILL buy the season dvd set. SO Worth it!

Once again the Major Crimes squad brings together action, humor and "family" drama to another season.

The great spin-off TheCloser continues with great cast and storylines.

I enjoy the show very much. Solid acting. No problems with packaging.
