Finally, the game is simplified, fluid, it moves quickly, fun and competitive. This is definitely the best baseball game since MVP 05' on PS2. Hitting is pretty sweet, the pitching is good. Controlling baserunners is easy. Sound quality is good, you can actually hear people catch the ball and slide into a base. Jerseys are all unlocked. Signatures batting stances are all really good-same for pitchers. If something in the game is too difficult or easy then you can just go into the difficulty settings and change anything (example. Pitching Speed, OF/IF speed, Hitting Power/Contact). If you are familiar with NBA 2k9, the main menu in this game is formatted identically to NBA 2k9.

For anyone considering this game, it's not half as bad as some of the reviews I've read. Yes, it could have been better if 2k sports would have tested it before they released it. But the occasional bugs add to the game the same way an umpire in real life adds to a MLB game. Besides, most of the reported bugs don't have anything to do with the game's outcome. These are bugs such as the manager dissapearing when he's obviously trying to walk to the pitcher's mound. It's kind of funny?

I have been a huge fan for a long time of 2K sports games. This is absolutely the worst game ever. They have completely taken out the pitching element from the game, there is no variety, and the game has no flow to it. If I can help anyone from wasting there $60 on this BS game I'll be happy. Don't become a victim of an inferior game.
