I could watch this movie 100 times as it relates to my youth in Cleveland Ohio and living and dying with the Indians. The cast was terrific and what could beat the script and outcome for a town which longed for a baseball winner. Ironically the Indians went to the World Series twice in the 1990s & in 2016, but lost. The movie was a spark for interest in the team and the game in general.

Am such a fan of this baseball comedy film that I had an Indians jersey custom made with "Vaughn 99" on the back. You will like this DVD even if you aren't a baseball fan. If you are an MLB fan, this film is a sure winner !

Major League is a ridiculously funny movie that has stood the test of time. Quite possibly the best sports movie ever. Great characters. Great laughs. Great quotes that we still reference to this day. "Juuuust a bit outside". This movie is a must for any collection. So much so that this purchase was to replace an old copy I got almost 15 years ago. Gotta go Blu ray.

"Major League" is possibly my favorite sports comedy of all time, and if you love the movie, this is a no-brainer. The film gets the special edition treatment, with decent extras (not quite enough, but pretty good for a 20-year-old film) and a pretty great looking transfer. For the price, this is a must-have for any sports and movie lover!

Sheen, Berenger, Snipes, Bernsen, Uecker, Haysbert make this film. The Cleveland Indians are a struggling club (just like in real life!) and their new owner is trying to sabotage their efforts so she can move the team to Miami. We follow them from training camp to the pennant and laugh the entire time!

This is the Best……baseball comedy ,ever . IMO. if you haven't seen this flick ,do yourself a favor and and give it a watch . its got the great cast (Tom Berenger,Corbin Bernsen,Wesley Snipes,Dennis Haysbert..and of course WILD THING HIMSELF Charlie Sheen! a must see for any baseball fan .

Fun baseball movie with an awesome cast! May seem strange to see sheen in this role, but he does so well. Snipes, sheen, berenger and Russo, they all work really well together. Die hard twins fan, but you can't help but feel for Cleveland fans! Not a family movie, but still fun to watch!

We had been searching for this movie and Best Buy had it in stock. The easy online ordering process and free shipping made it a no brainier to order. My 13 year old son's baseball coach advised him to watch this movie as it showed what not to do in a game but in more of a comical note.

Charlie Sheen...does anything else more need to be said? Great sports comedy. The next two in the series? Not so much, especially the third in the series. Hope that if they still plan to make a new movie for this franchise, that it'll be as good as this one.

Loved this movie, it's an all time classic. Charlie Sheen is WONDERFUL As Vaughn, And Bob Uecker has some wonderful one liners in this. It's a movie i can keep and watch forever. And i probably will. :) Thank you best buy.

Though coming toward the end of the decade, MAJOR LEAGUE truly embodies the 80s comedy. Although this is far from an absolute favorite (not a sports fan!), it does deliver great, memorable characters (early Wesley Snipes as Willy Mayes Hayes) & the trial/redemption plot structure so important at that time. So while I didn't laugh myself to tears, I enjoyed every minute of this flick.

Great comedy regarding baseball! The movie has a great supporting cast including Corbin Bernsen and Rene Russo! Very enjoyable movie to watch and then continue with the sequels! The audio is in 5.1 audio and has plenty of special features!

Major League is a classic baseball comedy. Nothing else compares. It's funny (great parody of stereotypical baseball norms). Great underdog story as well as funny around every turn. Story is what to be expected for a baseball comedy.

Charlie Sheen in his iconic "Wild Thing" Rick Vaughn role, a pitcher with power but no control. The owner of the Cleveland Indians wants to move the team but can only if tickets hit an all time low and the team fails to make the playoffs. She brings in a bunch of misfits to make up the team. Trying to beat the odds, the team tries to work together and keep their jobs.

If you don't like this movie you are Un-American in my book. Move to another continent or something and start watching soccer movies. A good name for a foreign soccer movie might be "The Flop".

Great choice for Indians fans - no, any baseball fan. Even non-baseball fans. The movie is great - each character is perfectly cast. The story is fun. If you're from Cleveland, it rings true.

This is hands down one of the best baseball movie/comedies of all time. Great cast Starring Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen, & a young Weasley Snipes. You can not go wrong with this movie.

This is one of my favorite comedies from early adulthood. The characters play off each other well and the storyline is absolutely hilarious. A must watch for sports fans and non-sports fans alike!
