Fantastic movie! Densel fantastic! The life of Malcolm X from his early days as a child to his death is brilliantly and colorfully laid out by Spike Lee. Music of the the time is wonderful, A Classic!.

Spike Lee at his very best. Malcolm X is right up there with Do The Right Thing. Denzel Washington turns in and outstanding performance. Superb!

My brother had this movie on vhs when i was a kid! In my opinion this is Spike Lee's best work, and he has many classics.

This movie is longer than i remember. I was a much younger man when i caught this on HBO. Topping off at over 3 hrs its still worth a watch even repeatedly. Denzel's performance is powerful in this one. Not much for history as a rule. I still watch True Stories and Enjoy most of them. This enjoyment includes this film.
