    I loved how Wan ramped up the camp in this movie and all the homages to giallo ficks. Not scary persay but definitely a lot of fun.

    This was the rare blind-buy for me, mostly on the strength of the director's reputation. The film was not at all what I expected, but was definitely thought-provoking, as well as a great cure for sleep. While not quite the horror movie my wife and I were expecting, it played more like a 2-hour X-Files episode (and in this case, that is not a bad thing). Bottom line: it worked, and it is a welcome addition to my library. Oh, and the A/V quality of the disc is awesome!
