    I took it off my laptop Vista OS after getting tired of so many slowdowns, lock ups, and no response incidents. It was apparently the culprit because my laptop returned to normal after the uninstall. I originally installed it because of a malware that i had gotten rid of with the normal uninstall feature in Windows and wanted to block further unintended installs of malware, but it turned out to be a worse problem than the malware. It does seem to be compatible with the Win 8.1 desketop I installed it on, but hasn't caught any badness intrusions yet either.
