If you like horror, this is a must watch. Good story. Ending is a little rushed and not the happy ending USA is used to.

Not the best horror ghostly movie whatever you want to call it, but it was something new.

So, I'm one of those odd balls that will consume anything that Del Toro puts his name on. I was not disapointed. I enjoyed the character development and the plot.

This movie was creepy! Made me jump a few times, LOL! I only bought it because I think Jessica Chastain is soooooooo SEXY <3! The short on Youtube was way scarier!

Creepy little girl plots make as good of "Horror Movies" as psycho middle-aged white guy plots. Ergo, great movie as long as you're into the genre...

I may not have ever watched this movie had Guillermo del Toro not slapped his name on it as a producer. While the plot had a bit of originality, a couple girls being raised by a ghost, it felt like this concept was at the same time just too absurd. The CGI often looked very much like CGI and gave the movie a cheap feel. Worth a rental.

If you like Del Toro movies then this is a must buy!!! Amazing director and great story line. Probably the best written horror movie I have ever seen!

Great movie , my family n I have watched it about 8 times already lol n with some good speakers n a projector you are good to go.

Overall this movie isn't really scary but it does have some creepy scenes. Not the best Guillermo Del Toro produced horror film, that distinction belongs to the Orphanage, but this is a perfectly acceptable horror movie that doesn't fall into the dredge that is normally considered horror nowadays.

Good movie for the horror genre. I personally like how it ended.
