This soundtrack was expertly handled by Hans Zimmer. His themes are widely known in the Dark Knight Trilogy by Christopher Nolan but Hans takes a tender approach. Superman's theme is on the other side of John Williams' famous theme from the Christopher Reeve's films. The theme starts is just a couple of notes on the piano that builds in tracks like Flight and finally "What are You Going To Do When You're Not Saving The World". The action themes are large and the heavily-synthesized sounding theme of General Zod effectively contrasts with the Hope of Krypton. This is the rare soundtrack that I can literally see the scene happening while I listen to the soundtrack. In addition, this includes a Second Disc of Extra sessions and the Working Demo of all the themes. Great track! My set came in a metal steel packaging aptly made for "Man of Steel". The booklet not only includes great photos of the film but of the recording sessions. A final bonus is that it comes with a Hans Zimmer-developed digital download of the Soundtrack that replicates Zimmer's studio.

I have listened to this soundtrack over and over. It is truly one of the greatest pieces of music I have ever listened to. It is full of emotion, which fits the movie perfectly.

A great soundtrack to listen to on a road trip. It's relaxing and soothing and definately something to meditate to. It's a new era for superman and by far one of the best movie soundtracks ever.

THE SOUND TRACK WAS AWESOME, IT S VERY RELAXING AND A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM THE MOVIE, BUT I HAVE TO SAY MAN OF STEEL ROCKS!!

I'm a big fan of what Hans Zimmer did, not hiding in John Williams' shadow and all. And it comes in a Steelbook.

Limited Edition. Well worth $20. While listening to the music I can recall the scenes in the movie.

Pretty cool compilation of music. The CD case is really neat in that its made of metal/tin. The Second disc "Experiments from the Fortress of Solitude" is worth the price. Plus digital extras that are included are pretty cool too. A good buy from Best Buy in that's hard to find in any retail store.

I really enjoy the music in this. It can be great for a drive or just to relax.

I pre-ordered the album from iTunes so I don't have the actual physical album but the important part is the quality and epic-ness of the entire album. Hans Zimmer has not failed and I doubt he ever will. Truly spectacular and beautiful masterpiece.

The Man of Steel Soundtrack is awesome. The steel case came with a small dent, not bulletproof!
