One of my favorite movies. A bond movie at its best.

I purchased the movie due to being a james bond movie, but not all james bond movies are the same, as this one shows. It is among one of the lower rated ones.

The movie is excellent and the best Roger Moore Bond film. What is the point of collecting blu-rays and DVDs if they are going to arrive broken. The cases for most of the blu-rays and DVDs I bought from Best Buy this holiday season were so cheap they were broken or completely dented on the front. I also purchased them with Best Buy's Total Tech Membership which is a 100% joke and absolutely worthless. It made no difference and only complicates returns if you cancel the total tech membership. I am close to never buying anything again from Best Buy. Possibly the worst corporation on the market.

Not one of the best Bond movies. The plot line re liquid helium severely stretched science.

Of all the James Bond characters in every film, Herve Villechaize's 'Nick Nack' was probably my favorite (Mr. Kidd and Wint from 'Diamonds Are Forever' would be second and third). For whatever it's worth, I absolutely love this Bond film, especially the way that Roger Moore gets Scaramanga at the end. I wholeheartedly recommend this dvd, although die-hard fans will probably want to get the 2-disc special edition instead!

A definate must own for any Bond watcher, Man With The Golden Gun has a great plot and cool bad guy. Using 1$ million gold bullets to kill his targets James Bond must infiltrate and find out who is targetting rich businessmen. Set in Hong Kong with a wonderful backdrop of the harbor. Plus the famous car stunt using the red AMC car doing the corkscrew loop which really happened is amazing. Buy it!

The inspired casting of Christopher Lee as the title character is reason enough for this to be required viewing for any Bond fan. His scenes & dialogue with Sir Roger's Bond are, in a word, fabulous. The only thing keeping this film from being a true classic is the beautiful but dimwitted Mary Goodnight (Britt Ekland). Thankfully, she doesn't ruin one's enjoyment of the movie.

One of Rodger Moore's earlier James Bond movies. The Man with The Golden Gun takes place mostly in Asia with some great scenery. Fan favorite Sheriff J. W. Pepper returns from Live and Let Die. All around a lot of fun.
