I bought this without having seen it previously because (a) I had a very strong sense that I would like it and want to watch it again subsequently, and (b) because the disc contained a compelling lineup of bonus features. This will also get me to buy!

Didn't get a chance to catch this in theaters and saw all the nominations and awards it got, and it lived up to all those! Loved it!

Manchester By the Sea is a very touching human drama. Beautifully filmed with fantastic acting by Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams. Winner of 2 Academy Awards (Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay.) And the price is definitely right.

Loved the movie. Engrossing. But ending was disappointing. It just left you wondering. (Wondering if there is a sequel coming)

This was one of the better movies in 2016. Michelle Williams and Casey Affleck have become the better actors of this generation.

Very strong performances from all the actors in this film. It's a sad story that's handled very well. It's not a film that will require multiple viewings but it does help you relate to the character more. Aq and pq are both stellar in this film.

I heard very good reviews of the movie on TV and I didn't have the chance to see it at the Theater, so I bought it to see it :)

I was held to this movies as it is developed by flashbacks. It was easy to follow and I enjoyed the revelations to the current situations from the past. I was somewhat surprised by the ending and did not see it coming. I will watch this again.

A relatively quiet movie, you see the story unfold and it is a good movie. Some parts are slow, but it makes sense throughout.

An honest film, fictionalizing raw and human emotions. More novelistic than cinematic, the filmmakers and actors create a world and then cherry pick the best moments to delivery a heartfelt story of loss, grief, and recovery. Powerful stuff.

This is by far one of the best movies of 2016! I have seen Casey Affleck in many of his films, a notable one being Good Will Hunting, and his refined acting ability definitely shines in this movie. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice tender heartfelt movie that plays on your emotion. Casey Affleck does a phenomenal job.

The film was set near my house. After reading the preview I was not ready for all the the twist and turns of the plot. It made it a very captivating and realistic story. I would recommmend this film to anyone who likes intriguing stories.

Manchester by the Sea is definitely one of the greatest films of last year. Cassey Affleck should win best actor. Blu-ray looks great. Has a couple of interesting special features.

Although you could see the plot coming from a mile away, the acting was excellent in this movie! Worth watching for sure
