Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with Maneater's fun gameplay and open world environment, finding the story enjoyable and the price worthwhile, especially during sales. However, some players found the controls challenging and required time to master. The game's difficulty, particularly in the early stages, was also noted by a few customers.

This game is fun as can be, the physics work really well and the graphics are not bad at all. Controls are easy enough. Different kind of game that is for sure. Plenty of fun to be had for all. Enjoy

A shark game about revenge. Bloody, fun, and a streamlined experience. If you want a long game that'll take you months to complete look elsewhere. You'll probably finish it in a weekend. If there's a shark game, I've played it. JAWS Unleashed, depth, even hungry shark. I have been craving another shark game for a long time and this is perfect for that. It feels great swimming around, and just eating everything in your path. The customization aspects as you get further are pretty cool too, and you'll love the small easter eggs if you are a deep silver fan. Be on the lookout Metro players. My only reason for giving it one less star is it does start to get repetitive. You'll enjoy it more if you make yourself stop after 3-4 hours and then come back to it if you are trying to 100% it. The graphics were ok. I really wish that after eating something, the blood and guts stayed longer in the water. Kind of a weird thing but I felt things disappeared to quickly. Overall, completely worth it to play something that finally offers something creative and different.

If Jaws Unleashed and Gta had a kid, its this game. Its intense, addictive. sometimes a bit repetitive but doesn't take away from the game.

I thought this game was really fun. It is kind of a breath of fresh air when there are so many similar video games. It took me 15hrs to 100% but I enjoyed every minute. I suppose it could get a little repetitive doing some of the side quests but it was fun exploring all the new areas so it kept me interested. There is a story which Isn’t deep but was still fun to watch play out and I loved all the narration from Chris Parnell. As a side note, If you try to 100% the game, you have to open at least one of the large gates that connect areas. There are 3 total. You do so by jumping out of the water and hitting the gate switch with your tail whip. That was needed for the final xbox achievement.

It is a fun game to enjoy. It reminds me of playing jaws unleashed, but with a twist.

This SHARK-PG game was one of my favorite games to play over this summer. The game is set up like a Shark Week special one could watch on cable tv. Playing as the shark is both exciting and rewarding. I particularly loved leveling up my shark, adding her upgrades, and learning new techniques to chow down on the pedestrians and other aquatic denizens. This game plays in a pseudo sandbox mode and provides a fair 10-20 hours of gameplay.

Ever watched Deep Blue Sea and thought how fun a game about being a shark could be? Well look no further as the developers behind Man Eater have done a fantastic job of making a shark RPG that remains fun from start to finish. I've only dumped 10 hours into the game so far but it's fun and easy to pick up and play whenever you can.

I bought it because it looked cool, and the game play was much better than I expected. I honestly couldn't tell you what I was expecting, but this game was fun (I mean, ya get to eat humans for sport, and then eat more humans in battle)

This game reminds me very much of Jaws for PS2 which was also a very fun game. This game is better though since you can actually equip different shark "genetics" to give yourself different abilities. It is a short game though. I got all trophies over a weekend.

What a great idea for a game. It’s fun and great graphics! Feed on humans and fish to grow up into a massive shark. As you grow you unlock strengths and abilities like a RPG. Fun but can get repetitive. However, who doesn’t want to keep eating humans!

This game is exactly what you would expect it to be, and more! You get to be a shark who swims around and eats absolutely everything you can find. Landmarks, other animals, people, boats - everything is fair game! I have literally spent hours with this game, and it just gets better and better. The upgrades that you can make into your shark simply add to the fun. It isn't like other games where you specifically have to level up certain trees to be able to be effective in future "battles" but having metal teeth and increased sonar range, etc. definitely add to the fun. There aren't specific missions that you have to do in order to proceed, instead it requires you to reach certain levels to be able to access new areas, but how you choose to level up is entirely up to you. Absolutely recommend this game as long as you know not to take it too seriously.

It's actually fun to play. I got it for my son and he really enjoys it. He's 38. You aren't trying to fight killer sharks which is what I thought but instead you are the shark trying to kill people.

It’s pretty straight forward. Keep eating and surviving until you get bigger. Took me about 10 hours to 100% the game. A ton of fun, but kinda got boring near the end.

You will probably think less of me but this game is fun and kind of tricky! Yes, you (the shark) is eating all kinds of fish, swimmers, things and causing mayhem and even jumping out of water (landshark like). Navagation is a bit tricky at first but I am old and that is probably why. I actually looked at a few videos from other players on YouTube and got quite a few great tips from them. Your skills will quickly add up and make it more fun. I have not run into any software problems and the images are pretty good.
