A little pricey for what comes included but very stable. Could use a couple more ways to tighten or loosen for panning purposes.

This is exactly what I needed for my mirrorless camera. I was looking for a fluid head tripod and this Monfrotto tripod was perfect for what I needed. Not heavy and very sturdy.

I have an older Bogen 3040 tripod that has served me well for over 45 years, but it is too heavy to carry in the field. The Manfrotto is a great light-weight tripod that is compact, but sturdy.

I use this tripod with my N4 Mk3 nodal ninja rotula and works fabulous

It is light and pans smoothly. The only concern is if you have a heavy lens since the tripod itself is light, there may be some extra care not to have your camera fall over. If you are traveling with the tripod, it is nice because it is light.

Perfect for trip. It is supper light but stable for heavy equipment. Quick for extension and easy to close it back together. Pan head vertical and horizontal direction both are very smooth. Excellent gear.

This tripod is a best buy exclusive. In terms of value the price point cannot be beat. My heavy tripod I use for slider work and this one is perfect for my full frame Sony A7C. Smooth pan and tilt. The handle can be adjusted a bunch of ways. This thing is super light but it's strong and sturdy for a travel tripod. It could use a hook to add weights for a windy day but other than that, this is my go to tripod. You won't find a tripod in this class or similar to it on Amazon or B&H. Good job best buy.

Got myself a Lumix SLR camera and teleprompter and needed a sturdy tripod to support both. This tripod does the trick. Easy to work with and adjust. Highly recommended.

So easy to use! So many ways to adjust it, and the 360 spin is incredible! It’s also very sturdy and stood throughout 30mph wind gusts.

This is an excellent tripod for use with a camera or a spotting scope when bird watching. The fluid head assures a smooth horizontal adjustment It is lightweight so easy to carry

I really like this, but it wasn’t as stable as I was hoping. You have to really tighten the head to keep it level and it’s pretty difficult to level. There’s also no level on the head so you can only level the base. It’s sturdy and does the job but not as easy to use as others.

I've had a Manfrotto monopod for the longest time, and it's worked so much better than the $30-or-so plastic tripods that you can find at retailers like Best Buy. So when I finally decided to purchase a tripod, Manfrotto was my preferred brand, and this was the best option that was available through Best Buy in terms of price and ease of usage. I'd say, as long as your DSLR camera is small, and you have a good idea of what the different knobs tighten or loosen, then this is a great choice.

If I had to take on tripod on a trip I would choose this one. Gives really stable shots but when you pan, the whole tripod wants to move.

The tripod is still in the box, but a few words of praise for local Best Buy service are absolutely deserved. I placed the order late last night without any special handling instructions. About 14 hours later, it was at my door. Wow! The tripod is a Manfrotto, so rock solid. Everything fits perfectly and the head moves smoothly with ample adjustments for tension. And the Best Buy price was ridiculously low. This was a win for me in every respect.
