Customers are saying

Customers regard the 60" Tripod favorably for its ease of use, lightweight design, compact size, and affordable price. Many appreciate its quick release feature and portability, making it ideal for travel. However, some users express concerns about stability, particularly when fully extended, and find the ball head's performance and panning capabilities less than ideal. Improvements to the tripod's sturdiness and the smoothness of its panning mechanism are suggested by some users.

This tripod has worked well for photography during my travels both in Europe and the USA. The compact size and ease of setting it up earns the 5 star rating.

It's a tripod. Like the quick disconnect adaptor. Over all it's light weight and sturdy with out feeling flimsy. Would be better with a cary strap since the bag is a little bit of a slow down when setting up.

Unless you have a need something heavy-duty, this tripod will get the job done. I bought it as a replacement to another one that didn't hold up for a month, and I only mounted a camera on there three times.

I bought this a year ago because it collapsed to a small enough length to put into carry-on luggage. It's the most stable small tripod I've seen at a reasonable price. So I bought another one for a friend's daughter. They changed the quick release to a small knob which inserts into the tripod head, so you can't set your camera down on a flat surface anymore if the release knob is attached. The old release PLATE was much better. Nevertheless, it's a great product for the money, and puts to shame all the flimsy soda straw-legged tripods that try to compete with it.

I like the size of the tripod so it can fit into a carry-on when traveling. It is also pretty steady when using. The height is good also it seems to be pretty durable but haven't really tested it out.

At first I thought it might need to be returned because the tripod lacks any levels. It's at the higher end of Best Buys tripods, but for a Manfrotto, it's on the low end of the price scale. That in mind I bought the unit and have be nothing but happy with it. Once I got it set up it's easy to use. The large wheel makes moving and locking the camera in place easy. As for leveling, as my instructor tells us, use the view finder and adjust for level in your picture. The only negative is the button mount and the replacement cost of $20 through the manufacturer. It would be great is Best Buy could stock the buttons at a lower retail price point, so I could get a spare and one for my other camera.

I haven't ever been into cameras, and I definitely haven't bought a tripod before, but I am glad this is what I went with. It ranges from a short one to a rather tall one without making it seem unstable at full extension. I got some great pictures of the stars because of this tripod and i can wait to bring it to different locations. Easy to attach camera without any directions. Self explanatory and great!

This is much better than the last Manfrotto compact tripod I used to have. The quick release plate is more like a screw rather than the actual flat plate that usually attaches to the camera. This is a great feature! With a quick plate, you would still have to wiggle it out and with this new screw on, it is a much faster quick release. It's so compact and light to take on your travels.

This is a great tripod and my go-to while out and about. It's incredibly lightweight and the camera mount is small and discrete. Very smooth tracking. That said, it can be a touch unstable, especially if you don't lock the the position. I was recording an event and it started slowly swinging down because I failed to lock it up properly. Camera collapsed breaking a lens. Be sure to dial it up tight and secure the base.

Only thing that could be better would be a more adjustable tripod but those, they're a bit more costly. This is solid, holds an heavy dslr in place, and is lightweight enough to carry around.

This is a well priced tripod for smaller digital cameras,DSLR's and video cams that are under 3.3 pounds. It has a quick release plate and a quick adjustment to change from DSLR (full motion) to the Video mode--assuring you smooth movies when you pan--The included case is very functional-Another great touch is the compatibility adapter for use with the Sony Nex5R/5T -nice touch! If you typically are in a very windy area, you may want to consider adding weight for stability- Manfrotto is a great name in tripods and this is a lightweight tripod that is certainly a good choice at its price point!

You will love this tripod. Best feature is the quick release latch that lets you remove the camera without unscrewing anything for quick action to the next shot.

Light weight design, yet very sturdy when the legs are all the way out. We use ours for location shoots where we can't transport a heavier tripod.

It's a nice compact tripod for my Sony a6000. Only thing I didn't like is the quick release plate was a small thumb screw and Im worried I might lose it
