Customers are saying

Customers commend the Compact Action Smart 61" Tripod for its sturdiness, lightweight design, and affordability, finding it ideal for travel due to its compact size and compatibility with various devices. However, some users experienced challenges with the panning feature, the lack of a built-in level, and the phone holder's stability. Concerns were also raised regarding the tripod head's maneuverability and the reliability of the locking mechanism.

Needed a new tripod. Works fine for the average person. Not what im use to. Fir occasional and small cameras works just fine. But its no compartison to the $200+ on up for workhorse photography or videography. Small and light enough to use on hikes without loading you down too much. So yeah it works for the average person. Fair price for whatvit is. Could buy another if needed in the future.

We were first time users for a tripod and I LOVE this one! We got it to take our own pictures with our Canon - PowerShot SX740 HS 20.3-Megapixel Digital Camera!! It was so easy to use and because of the excellent stabilization it offered we were able to capture professional level photography pictures for us just being amateurs :)) love that it has cell phone option capability too :)) the pictures attached, we used the tripod for :) also love that it comes with a bag to carry it in!

There are so many heights and configurations you can do with this tripod including inverting the cellphone quick release for a perfect aerial / overhead shot which is perfect for my art timelapse recordings and product photoshoots. This tripod has made my life so much easier. A bonus is how sturdy and also lightweight it is. Manfrotto did not disappoint!

Didn’t have it for that long when the phone holder clip broke. Best Buy was great and we returned it and got the same one and haven’t had any issues at all!

I got this tripod to keep in my car for those times when I’m driving down the highway and come to a screeching halt wanting to take a photo. So far so good! I was on a farm in Kansas during a controlled pasture burn after dark and grabbed this little guy out of the trunk. Rockstar. Light enough to easily carry from place to place, sturdy enough to stay steady for a long exposure. I haven’t used it for video yet so can’t speak much to how smooth the panning is but it feels pretty smooth.

This is a excellent unit for a very reasonable price. It works well if you need to change your camera position and you really only have one available to work with. It is well built. When it's setup and put to use, it is sturdy. I definitely recommend this to anyone who, like myself, needed the solid, sturdy build lacking in similar priced out cheaper units by other companies.

This is one of the best and lightest tripods I've owned, sure there are lighter ones out there but they're usually of cheap materials and are not sturdy at all, unless they're made out of carbon fiber and cost an arm. I was looking for a light travel tripod, this fits perfectly into my budget, bag and needs. the handle has a rotating wheel that you can use to tighten or loosen the head making it so much easier to adjust the level and direction of the camera. I only wish it was a little larger when fully extended, also a small level would've been nice since those come standard even on very cheap tripods.

I love this tripod so much. A year ago I finally decided to buy a tripod when I came across this one. I am an outdoorsman who loves nature and all the extremities that come with it. I need a small, lightweight, strong, sturdy, and reliable tripod with a great swivel-head and that is exactly what this thing gave me. I take it everywhere with me!

Pistol grip and thumbwheel are fast and convenient; just what I was looking for. Lightweight but better feel than the lower priced tripods I considered and feels more durable than fancier looking multi purpose tripods comparably priced. Had to buy additional mounts for other cameras I own because this only came with one.

This tripod is great for my smaller APS-C camera. It breaks down into a small enough size for travel, and has a nice range of movement. I like that it comes with a smartphone holder as well. It's light enough to be convenient, yet sturdy enough that I'm not afraid that a light breeze will knock it over and damage my camera.
