My husband and I take weekend trips to birdwatch, and he uses this tripod for his Nikon P1000. Being such an expensive camera, for us, we wanted something sturdy but lightweight. This one does the trick. Highly recommend it!

Strong & light, it's fine for traveling. The only concern I have is the little piece to secure the camera to the tripod, it's just very small and it could be lost. Other than that, it is a very stable tripod.

I have always been a fan of Manfrotto tripods, and as expected this one definitely delivers. It is very lightweight and compact. The versatility of this tripod is amazing. What was even more amazing was the sticker price. This is well worth the cost.

Portable. I can easily put this in my luggage when I travel. It is not very heavy but is made of good material. I used both my cell phone and my mirrorless camera to take pictures. The only detail I do not like is the mounting part of the tripod gets in the way of my lens adapter. If I use my camera with lens that do not need an adapter, it works great. I wanted to use my Sony - DT 55-300mm Telephoto Zoom Lens but I needed to use an adapter to mount this on my camera. The adapter is too bulky at the base of the camera..therefore I could not mount it. I used this with my phone and it worked great. I recommend for travelers!

After searching for a tripod for my Nikon Prostaff 7S Binoculars I opted to purchase this tripod. It comes with a travel bad and collapses to a relatively small size. Height adjustability makes it useful in so many different situations. Tripod is sturdy when legs are fully extended. What sold me was the quick release feature and the "pistol grip," which allows you to quickly manipulate your line of sight in any direction. While using binoculars your chin does rest on this grip (may bother some people) but I found it works well for me. For the price.. this tripod can't be beat. Highly recommended!

I have really enjoyed using this tripod so far. So far I have used both an iPhone and a Canon Rebel DSLR. I like the way the grip works and really has angles you can set the tripod at. I have gotten to use it quite a bit so far. I did some photoshoots around Christmas. It made things so much easier. I had looked at cheaper options but I didn't want to take the risk of holding my nice camera with a subpar tripod, so I went with this one. I highly recommend it to someone wanting to find a good tripod that does not take up a lot of space once put away. It's also very easy to setup which is a plus.

This tripod is a nice middle ground tripod that is a HUGE bang for the buck. Sturdy, smooth, doesn't wiggle or rattle, and is nicely customizable for what you're needing to use it for. Great for video or still photos.

I bought this base on a employee recommendation and I got to say I really like it. The handle is short so it does not get in the way for me and my use, There are latches I guess is what you call them for the legs that you can open up to extended the legs for higher high. It is easy to adjust it to the high you like. This product is pretty universal so it should work with most modern day camera I can't say about older one, but it does come with an additional attachment that you can use I guess for cell phone and maybe older camera, but do the research and ask in store employee who know way more than me if you are using older camera.

A sturdy tripod. I'm able to keep the little knob that hooks the camera to the tripod attached to the bottom of my camera so when I need to put my camera on the Manfrotto 61 inch tripod, I just have to set the camera in the tripod slot and then flip a lever. To lower or raise the camera up while on the tripod , you just use your thumb on the roller to loosen or tighten then adjust your camera and roll it back to set it. My old tripod always made me feel like it would tip over. This is nice and sturdy

So far I'm pretty impressed by this purchase and really happy with the results. I am a wedding and destination photographer but when I'm traveling it's really hard to have gear that fits in a carryon as well as captures moments of me either behind the scenes or with my kids and myself. My husband cannot always be trusted to get good photos of me lol. Also, our last trip was to Maui and a camera on the beach can be unnerving but this worked well with my camera as well as my phone and that was my main requirement. I would hate to have to lug 2 things to do the 1 same job.

This tripod is well built, sturdy, easily travels and has a really nice wheel for unlocking and locking the head. Tracking can be achieved smoothly with careful movement. The included cell phone holder is a nice touch. Keep in mind that this tripod is for smaller cameras and lighter weight. I use it with my Canon M50 camera and a Tascam DR-70D Field Recorder, but if I wanted to add more equipment, this tripod would not support it. Overall, this is a much better tripod than the cheaper ones and if you are looking for something in the middle with excellent build quality, this is the one you want.

This works great considering the price. It seems well made and is sturdy enough to securely hold a DSLR with attached lighting and video monitor. I was skeptical about the ball head because in most cases I want my shots to be level -- but this has a lockout switch that goes between full range of motion and just left/right/up/down -- so it's the best of both worlds. I originally bought the Sunpak 58" tripod for $30, but it seemed very cheaply made and I upgraded to this and it's well worth the extra cost. Besides the higher build quality, it folds smaller, and comes with a carrying case.

Good quality construction and easy to use. Works great with my Canon XA40 camcorder. The wheel is super fast to use. The only minor complaint is that the knob is not super smooth when panning on the camera.

After dealing with poorly made tripods for far too long I finally decided to bite the bullet and get this Manfrotto. It's got plenty of height for setting up a good portrait shot. With the clamps, there's no worry about having to twist the legs to get them to lock in place so finding the right setup is easy. The quick-release nubbin is fantastic. Small enough to not be a nuisance when not on the tripod but when locked in it keeps the camera secure. If you're looking for something reliable and a big step up from the cheap-o tripods, this is a good choice.

I had been looking for a good camera tripod for a long time. I wasn't sure this would meet my expectations when I ordered it. Even when it was delivered it looked like it was too small. After opening the box and extending the tripod I was pleasantly surprised and very happy to see this tripod was sturdy and had all the maneuverability I was looking for. It also came with an attachment for mounting your cell phone. The legs extend and contract to fit every photographic situation. I am very pleased with this purchase.
