Customers are saying

Customers commend the Compact Action Smart 61" Tripod for its sturdiness, lightweight design, and affordability, finding it ideal for travel due to its compact size and compatibility with various devices. However, some users experienced challenges with the panning feature, the lack of a built-in level, and the phone holder's stability. Concerns were also raised regarding the tripod head's maneuverability and the reliability of the locking mechanism.

I purchased this for a spotter scope that I use for wildlife. The trigger ball is the only way to go if you have to make multiple adjustments in a hurry. It locks down steady as expected. I have been able to pack my Barska scope and Manfrotto tri pod in a single vinyl bag with a shoulder strap that I can carry with me in the woods and have set up in less than a minute. Great little tripod for on the go type of use.

Nice, compact and sturdy. Just want I needed to take photos with my iPhone. It took me a while to figure out how to flip the phone holder so that it took photos in portrait mode. The instructions were a little vague so I had to play with it a bit before I 'learned' the secret. But I like the product and would recommend it to others.

Don’t like the left right up down swivel when rotating You have to learn how it operates then you will adapt and accept it It’s is compact and light. I own a 300$ tripod forgot to bring it, so I bought this one, over all it does it’s job well so I can’t complain expensive one just has a very sturdy frame and slightly better feature design. But for the cost of this tripod it does it’s job and I can’t complain about that.

The tripod seams to be solid build and is very easy to use. Also the mechanism to attach the camera it's easy to maneuver and very stable. I used with a sony a 6300 with flash with no problems. The package came with attachment/holder for cell phone wich is nice if you would like to use your cellphone. My only complain is the weight of the tripod- I expected it to be lighter. For more then 30 - 1 hour jobs when you have to move it around a lot or just carry it I will recommend you to look for something lighter

In two words: Excellent and economical. You honestly cannot go wrong with this tripod. It gets the job done and wasn’t nearly as expensive as some of the others… whose reviews weren’t all that great but I didn’t buy those I bought this one. And I am very pleased with my purchase!

Purchased this at 50 USD and pretty pleased with the quality, however considering how aggressive I am with the tripod, I am scared the plastic handle is going to bust one of these days. Always wanted a Manfrotto tripod, it has an easy clip onto the head of the tripod and I actually use the cell phone clip that comes with it. Overall, I am happy with this purchase, only wish it had a fluid head for panning smooth video.

Purchased as a gift. It was very easy to use by my friend, who is really not mechanically inclines. They set it up and attached their Sony DSLR camera without a hitch. They also set their IPhone using the supplied adapter with ease. It is a sturdy tripod with the ability to have multiple adjustments. Great for the price!

This thing is worth the money. I had previously bought a cheap $20 dollar tripod and the difference is definitely noticeable. Very sturdy, versatile and even has a nice little quick release that screws on to the bottom of your camera for quick mounting. Would recommend so far!

So dont be too fooled by my star ratings on how good or crappy this tripod really is. I gave it 5 stars because this specific company didnt advertise anything about this tripod that wasnt true. Lets get into some thing i dont like about it since negative things seem to interest people more. - The more you extend the legs, the flimsier/less sturdy it gets. - The thingy magingy you use to attach your camera to this tripod at the top (despite having a roller that you can use to tighten this thing so that your camera doesnt just flop around) doesnt tighten enough while using this trippods with Gopro cameras. I could be wrong aboout that, but ive tampered an tampered and tried different ways to make it so that my Gopro can stay tightly sat while being mounted in this tripod. Good things i like about this tripod are: - the build quality is really good. im sure there's better but i was satisfied with my price vs quality of product ratio. - i like the overall height of this product - the length while fully retracted is pretty good and satisfying for what i need it to be. I wish it had: - stronger legs when it comes to the very last level of leg extension. (but doesnt due to its portability)

It's a good trade-off between size/weight and sturdiness. What I'm always worried about with these things is fragility, especially if I'm traveling with it. Cheaper tripods of this type literally fall apart after one trip, but this one held up well. The four latches allow it to fold up very small - and with all four extended it's quite tall.
