The tripod is great. It's small and light weight, but made from good materials, so it is very sturdy. Not cheaply made at all. Not the cheapest, but worth the extra few bucks.

I bought this tripod after talking with a sales associate in my local Best Buy store. I was looking for a portable tripod that could fit in my carry case for all the unforeseen times I wish I had one. I'll tell you what - I'm so glad I got it! For only $20 this thing has been more than worth it. Just knowing I always have a tripod is one thing, but the build quality of this one is (in my opinion) unparalleled to anything else in its class. And I love the fact that the camera rests on a ball joint - it lets you get super creative! I would highly recommend it to any on-the-go photographer looking for a solid, portable tripod.

    Much Better Than Expected

This tripod is small but sturdy. I use it for my GoPro and Sony Action cams and it works great for leaving it on the car or on a table. It's made out of a combination of metal and a different type of hard plastic. The plastic is not the cheap kind either. It's taken some abuse but looks like its still right out of the package. The ball mount is strong. You can turn the camera on its side and once the ball is locked into place it doesn't move. I thought so sure it would work it's way lose over time, but once the button is unpressed it holds tight. I will be picking up a few more of these here shortly. They are well worth it.

Small, easily added in your pack or pocket. Tried it with my D600 & tamron 70-200 lens and it held. Will be great for tabletop or hard to get place for stable photograph. Manfrotto quality!

This tripod is good if you have limited space/weight limit and would like an easily accessible tripod for travel use. In my case I brought this on a hiking trip, it did its job but I have to admit it was a bit difficulty getting it to stand on some surfaces above ground level.

Love this little tripod. Took it for our cruise trip and used primarily for my gopro but also worked well with my Canon sl1 dslr light, sturdy, built well. Will be buying another one so I won't have to swap out cameras

I bought it to support a Led light, but it also works well with my DSLR (Canon EOS Rebel XTi). The angle of the legs cannot be adjusted, but the ball joint can be moved, but not to a portrait position.

I bought this tripod to go with my X100T. I needed something portable and I didn't need a full size tripod. This solved all of my problems. I place it on table tops most of the time when I'm taking photos and it works great. It also works great if you're taking food pictures in low light. The tripod is surprisingly sturdy and I don't have any worries about my camera toppling over. The push-button makes adjusting your camera position very easy.

I had purchased another more expensive small tripod for my spotting scope and it was terrible. It moved when it shouldn't have and wouldn't move when it should. When returning I asked one of the sales people what might be a better tripod for my scope. He recommended this one and I have been quite happy with it since, especially for the price. I'm sure there are better small tripods but I would guess they would cost two or three times as much.
