This has been a saving grace! First time purchaser of one of these "Lawn Mowers" and it has been excellent. The process to remove heads, clean and use are incredibly easy and so very useful. I can literally cut anything on my face at any length without any issues. No nicks or anything that pulled my hairs so I'm happy with that too! The insanely fast charging speed and the fact that I can use my USB c charger on this too is impeccable. I will highly recommend this to all my friends and family for sure. Glad I don't look scruffy and messy anymore!

In my opinion, this is not the best product. Before purchasing it, I believe the battery is more durable. I have to charge it more frequently than my previous Philips machine. Additionally, the blade only lasted for about 4-5 months before it stopped working properly.

I recommend picking these up. You won't be disappointed.

As this was my first time ever using a product from Manscaped, I was not sure what to expect. Sure I have seen the product on shelves at local stores and I had an idea as to what they were aiming for as far as marketing, but I was always apprehensive to try something new, given I already had a standard "go to" for trimming things like unwanted body hair. The only problem was, that "go to" was not designed for such a task, and the guards were spaced rather far apart which meant occasional nick if you were not careful. It was designed more for beard and moustache trimming, or, if you cut your own hair like I do, tidying up afterwards. This is where the Manscaped comes in. The design is just like any other trimmer, except they market it for your more sensitive area (it even says that on the packaging) To aid in trimming that area, they have something called SkinSafe technology. The bottom blade is still metal, but the top blade, is ceramic. Do not get me wrong, you can use it as is with no guards if you wish but it still has the ability to nick your skin and if you are like me, you know what that feels like (here is a hint. It is NOT like another other nick you might get given the area). Thankfully, Manscaped includes 3 guards. One is 1.4mm, the second is 2/4/6mm adjustable and the 3rd is 8/10.12mm, also adjustable. They also include a foil blade, for that extra close cleanup shave while preventing any nicks or cuts and as a bonus, in the box is an aftershave lotion called Crop Soother, which upon reading the back , is also meant for the boys. As I have only used it once, I will have to quote what the manual says as far as charging. From drained to full charge takes 90 min on USB-C and the run time is 60 min use with the built in 700mA battery and there is an LED indicator on the handle that lets you know the current charge. Now onto the positives: -as listed above, 2 forms of charging. USB-C or Qi wireless. The wireless does not need a special dock or another hardware. Any standard Qi puck will work -Built in 2 tone light. 1 mode is the standard white color light and the other is a more softer white light. This aids is getting a better view of the area you want to trim -Constant RPM motor. When the battery starts to die, most devices will start to slow down. This device has the ability to keep the same speed, even if the battery starts to fade. Anyone that has tried shaving with a battery that is losing its charge, knows that a hassle it can be as the blades will slow down to the point where they just can not finish the job. -Waterproof. Use it in the shower if you want! -Built in travel lock. Simple hold the lock button for 3 seconds or so to engage and disengage the travel lock. -Cleaning is a breeze. Just remove the blade/blades you used and run them under water and let air dry. They just pop on and pop off, nothing to fancy or complicated and now the negatives, of which there are 3: -While it is marketed as having "SkinSafe technology", use of a guard is still highly recommended. -No included bag or travel container. For the price of this item, having something as simple as a travel bag would have been nice. -The position of the On/Off button caused me to turn it off a few times when I did not mean to. I will just have to get used to its position and adjust my hand accordingly. Overall, I was impressed with how easy it was to use, and in half the time as it would have taken me with the other trimmer. With my other trimmer, there were always extra steps I had to take to ensure I did not get any nicks or cuts but there were none to contend with.

This new trimmer from Manscaped is a pretty nice tool to use for keeping up with my appearance. The Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra Essentials Kit is quite nice and easy to use. Trim up body hair all over, and in the sensitive regions of your body. The skinsafe ceramic blades that are on this tend to get close to the skin and down to the base of the hair follicle. The hair gets trimmed and I'm not worried about cutting myself or nicking my skin. The LED lighting is very useful and well thought out by allowing me to easily see the region I'm moving the trimmer across. The Lawn Mower 5.0 Ultra has been used primarily by me for below the waist grooming. In the box you get the trimmer, a foil blade for an ultra close shave, and 3 combs. Also included is a power adapter that connects to the trimmer via USB-C cable, and also a crop soother lotion that is ideal for after trimming. The trimmer can not work when plugged into an electrical outlet. The trimmer will give you about 60 minutes of run time on a full charge. There is an easy to see LED power indicator on the front of the trimmer. I've been using this in the shower so it's waterproof, but I seem to get the best results while my body is dry. Easy to change heads can take you from trimmer to foil blade in a quick moment. Overall I'm liking the ease of use with this trimmer. Easy to grip and hold, while maneuvering under arms, or below the waist. Manscaping is fairly easy to do with this powerful motor. If you like to keep your body trimmed up and don't want to worry about nicks, then this could be the ideal trimmer for you.

I replaced my 10 year old body trimmer with the Lawn Mower 5.0. Love my new trimmer and the build quality is superb.

These clippers work as well as they are sleek looking. This is my second pair of Manscape trimmers and they are both awesome. Two things really stick out on this one compared to the old ones. It has a very large light that kind of wraps around the blade providing more than enough light (see picture). Not only that, but the light can be changed to two different tones. One a bright white and the other a softer white. The second thing was the balls trimmer. This thing looks like a torture device (see pic) and to think it is exclusively for use on your most private parts. At first it was a little intimidating, but it gets the job done. It actually works very well and does not irritate like some razors/clippers do on those parts. The shave is very close too, while the wicked looking cutters on each side take care of longer hairs. They are very light and powerful, and I have no complaints with the battery life. They can be used many times without charging. I suppose this is affected by how hairy one might be. I love the fact that the old charge stand is no longer needed. To recharge you simply plug in the USB-C cable provided. They come with three different size head adapters all of which are adjustable for different lengths of shaves. Note that these are for your body and not your face. They are great for a beard, but not meant to be used for a close face shave. I don’t know if this should provide comfort, but it does. While the bottom blade of the cutter is steel, the part that actually moves appears to be plastic. Discovering that made me a little less intimidated by them. Fully waterproof, they are great for the shower where I usually use them. I highly recommend these for overall body and personal area grooming.

This is the second one of these that has quit working the weeks after the warranty expires. I will no longer purchase manscaped products, they are terrible.

Absolutely loved the Manscaped 5.0. It delivers a super smooth trim with zero nicks or irritation, even in sensitive areas. The blade quality is excellent, the motor is powerful but quiet, and it glides smoothly. Love the design and that its also waterproof which makes it really easy to use and clean, and the battery life is solid. If you want a clean, comfortable, and stress-free grooming experience, this is hands-down one of the best trimmers you can buy. Highly recommend.
