A crazy tale of Hollywood and of some of the people who reside there. We have a movie star who wants to be picked to star in an upcoming movie, but her life is so messed up; a girl who took drugs and set her family home on fire, comes back, released from a psycho ward wearing elbow length leather gloves in the dead heat of California sunshine (they cover the scars from said fire), her father a TV personality, her mother who is a nervous wreck, her brother who is a child star who just came out of the psycho ward; a limo driver who just wants to be famous. A good ensemble of actors: Julianne Moore, John Cusack, Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson. A cameo appearance by Carrie Fisher and Sarah Gadon.

A in depth drama from most of the actors! It defiantly draws you in even on some of the slow scenes!

I love this movie. I like all the actors. The family that is portrayed is so dysfunctional, it makes you realize there are other families out there very dysfunctional.

If you liked Cosmopolis or David Cronenberg films then this will be a great movie for you. If you don't get his style of movie making you won't like it. This movie isn't for everybody.

This was a very interesting film from David Cronenberg. I would buy this film again.

It is not a real mainstream movie, but you MUST see it, I have already watched it four times!!

Julianne Moore pleases in this powerful film. Great characters and cast.

The Movie (Maps to the Stars) It Was Just A OK Movie

David Cronenberg continues to be in a funk with this mediocre satire.

What a cast and under Cronenberg's direction. Some love Woody Allen, Cronenberg is my equivalent. I always enjoy seeing him get such talent and then what he does with it. He pushes them to performances you don't see normally.
