This was one of the products I was always looking The salesman and I were talking about systems I wanted to build a number system for my theater so we kept talking about it looking at other products and he just happened to mention this one he had told me to reason why it ended up in the store and told me all about it and I had to have it I am very happy with it they could and worked out better.

I replaced an older less expensive AV unit with this one. The sound from my speakers is a lot better and all the new features are awesome. I'm very happy with this purchase but I wish the front LCD panel displayed the text bigger. I also don't like how the volume bar looks graphically on the tv but it's a minor issue to all the pluses.

Nice sound and easy to understand, setup and operate. It's has good power and I like the additional zone feature.

Power, quality sound, flexibility, appearance - all AWESOME! I love this receiver.

I did research on a high end Denon. I went to buy it from Best Buy and it went well until the item never arrived. Went to the store it was delayed so I was talked into buying a Marantz instead. I was told it was better quality all around and the 4K features where the best on the market. After hooking it up to my Sony 75 940D there was a slight learning curve but it went well. 4K switching was a nightmare. So I put a low end sony 4K reciever for troubleshooting and it worked perfectly. Called Marantz they told me this was a known issue and I needed HDMI cables with chips in them to help with processing the data. Same outcome. System not able to switch from 4K unless you change component. Updated firmware same issue. So I had to buy more HDMI cables and run everything directly to the 4K TV. Everything played so much better. This was time consuming and the 45 day period had lapsed. So I'm stuck with this unit and it's not as advertised. This is my fault for taking so long with troubleshooting but hey I have a life.

I listen to this receiver in the Magnolia Center and it just had a better sound than the other options in there. Pioneer is now and Onkyo company and they are having the same issues with HDMI so that one is out which I was considering. The Marantz is very nice and the setup was very easy, it sounds great. Only real issue that I have with this is the odd Front display that is so small its pointless. Not really sure what the need for it was.

This was a highly recommended receiver. Unfortunately, about 2 months after purchase and installation, my iPod input completely stopped working. Nothing shows up on the screen and options cannot be changed. All other inputs work as advertised. I had a bad experience speaking with both Best Buy Support and Marantz Support regarding my issue. I was told that this input ensures the highest bitrate to the receiver, and thus require this input to work. Support actually did not believe me, and it took over an hour before the case was "elevated" and I was told to send in my device. The National Service center cannot look at the incident report I created with Marantz Support, so I am using much more of my time to thoroughly explain the issue again. I understand that issues can always occur with products, but I do not expect such an expensive product to have such bad support. As for the performance of the product, it otherwise functioned as advertised. The higher power output allows my speakers to open up more than competitor products at the same volume output. I wonder if having a lower end receiver with external dedicated power would provide the same if not better results. Overall disappointed in the fabled Marantz Brand this time around.

When upgrading my home theater to 4k, I needed to upgrade my AVR as well. I started with another product from a vendor I've purchased from several times, but I was not happy with the feature and performance. After research I settled on this Marantz unit and am very impressed. The setup and configuration was easy, the sound is great, the features are good. Good audio is just as important as good video in a home theater and Marantz delivers awesome sound and quality!

Been eyeing this since it was released, and wanted to upgrade my old Denon. Went in to Best Buy and listened to it paired with Def Tech speakers, and I knew I had to have it. Only been using it for a month, but am very happy with it. It is a great upgrade over my Denon... lots more power and a warmer sound.

Couldn't make my mind up between this model and the 7011... Bought better speakers and wires and the tv so I decided to get the 6011 instead of the 7011. I really don't know how much better the 7011 is for $800 more... This receiver does everything I need and then some. Great product!

it does get warm so watch placement. easy hook up. replaces an onkyo 828.don't miss it .300 page manual is a little much. so glad I choose this Marantz 6011 than a Yamaha 2070 or the onkyo tx810 ,

Easy setup. Great sound, forward tech ready, great paring with Samsung SUHD TV. Plenty of power to go around. Upgraded from Onkyo (I will never buy again) Thus Marantz is well made.

This receiver produces AMAZING sound and is very user friendly. If this product is still available at clearance price, do not hesitate to purchase.

I am very pleased with this Marantz receiver. The quality is superb all the way around. Very sleek appearance too!

Well I finally did it, I picked up a Marantz - this paired with a new set of B+W speakers and sub have total transformed my home audio experience. this is an upgrade from a Smaller powered Dennon unit, the audio had a lot more depth and clarity. Recently Bi-amped the front speakers, and the sound is a bit better as well. The TV it is connected to appears a bit sharper, and the Pandora login is more reliable and logs in faster. Very happy with this unit.

The Marantz SR6011 is amazing with all the latest 4K, HDCP 2.2 connectivity. I recently purchased a Sony XBR65X930D. When I hooked it up to the Marantz amazing clarity and granularity resulted. Almost a 3-D quality was created. HDR at its finest. Marantz has done it a gain a fair and reasonable price point. I previously owned the Marantz SR6003. SR6005.and SR6009. You cannot go wrong with this!

This is all about the quality. The enjoyment of music through quality equipment, quality sound. Not regretting it for a second. Even if you own a music collection and want to enjoy the convenience that modern technology gives you this equipment will give you the best of both worlds. Great buy.

Easy set up and seamless integration with the Samsung TV and Bowers and Wilkins CM10s. It's a little tricky getting the receiver to play my iPhone library but, in the big scheme of things, it's no big deal. The great room is still in the process of being furnished but the sound is superb.

I started out my journey of buying receivers without a thought in my head for research... you must research! Find exactly what you need, don't trust anyone else, I was misled to many times! I finally found this beauty, and it is astonishing, the sound is so full and atmos is so worth it!

Unbelievable sound along with my B&W speakers. tough to beat. If you are in the market for a new receiver with 4k pass through you will be happy with this purchase. The only downside is that I now find myself listening to more music instead of watching my new TV. LOL
