Simply one of the best AVR's that I have ever owned.

My Onkyo blew out in the morning. I bought this one sight unseen. Lucky me. Easy setup. Excellent sound including DTS X and Dolby Atmos. I have watched a number of 4K movies and they all sound good. It has a eerie way of networking into my computer and other wifi speakers in my house without asking.

This Marantz replaces a Harman Kardon, which worked for 28 years. I'm anxious to see how the Marantz performs--so far so good.

Best buy is a hands on store, no worries when you trust the People who are experts in their fields.

First tried a pioneer that did not work with my OLED. Marantz worked like a charm.

I particularly setup (a little intimidated) then decided to make an appointment for Geek Squad to complete the setup. I would be in a better position to give a full and honest review on my Marantz Receiver at a later time (stay tuned).

I bought this to replace a Pioneer SC-85 (also a very nice receiver) mainly for HDCP 2.2 compliance. Everything functions nicely, no compatibilty issues whatsoever. The sound is very clear and detailed, moreso than the Pioneer which was heavier on bass. I ran my Pioneer without a subwoofer (as a 5.0)because of its bass prowess, but I would not recommend that with the Marantz. It really shines when using a sub (5.1 or 7.1/7.2). All in all a nice high quality receiver. Wish I had gotten it at the price its at now ($1760). Its a steal for that pirce.

Bought this bad boy after listening at the Mag store. Easy setup with my new speakers and dvd player. Awesome picture on my 4k tv. upscaling makes all media clear and the sound is very clean and clear. Recommend it to all folks who enjoy the latest sound and picture

After going through 2 Denon 4300H receivers and a Pioneer sc-lx 701 just to get past a hdmi handshake issues and other issues with those 3 receivers (50' cat 6 run) I was at my wits end getting something to work in my HT. I already knew just how great these AVR's sound from previous auditions at the different Magnolia showrooms and was going to get the 6011 but at the last minute after talking with Kyle at the Brentwood MO. store brought this bad boy home. It's awesome and worked beautifully from the get go. There is no noise injected into the video or audio streams from the pass through at all, so my music and video from my Oppo 203 is the best I have ever gotten out of it audiowise and the picture on my 65" LG oled65e6p is utterly jaw dropping both in 4k ultra and also in 3d and even with my TIVO box and Charter Spectrum shows. I have a lot of learning about it's capabilities to go yet, but I am in awe of it so far. Truly you get what you pay for with this unit and I highly recommend it if it fits within your budget.
