really like the Marantz 700 watt receiver, lots of power for all speakers makes watching movies great

Low Height a key factor for me. Has all the features and plenty of power for my small tv area. Replaced a failing Bose system and the sound quality has been greatly improved. The ability to easily change to any of the 8+ input sources from the remote is super convenient. Wiring and set up was fast and easy. I made a great choice here.

Recently bought a 4K TV and needed to upgrade from my Yamaha receiver to a 4K pass-through supported received. Researched other Yamaha's but really wanted to move up to a Marantz. Looked into these slim line received, and really liked the bang for the buck. Excellent purchased, setup was easy, especially the Audessy speaker set up.

My marantz is an excellent investment!! For many years I’ll enjoy this!! Not to beginner friendly but who begins at the level I did? No one!!! Once I figured out what I was doing....I then realized I have ultimate control of what I’m doing what I want to do and how I want to do it!! Love it!!

Having been a Marantz owner for years, I was looking forward to testing this out. After only a few short weeks, this model failed completely. It would not power on at all. One selling point for me was the 3 year manufacturers warranty. Dealing with Marantz to get support was a pain. They would not cover shipping back to their support team and would not warranty any damage incurred during shipping. After battling with support team I was able to get them to ship me a "Marantz approved" box, but still wouldn't cover shipping. When the receiver got to the repair facility, it had additional damage even with the use of the "Marantz approved" box. Would not cover the damage. Marantz quality and customer support has gone down hill over the years. Eventually got it back, but after paying an additional $100 for shipping and new repairs on a brand new device.

I absolutely love the product I chose. It's perfect.

Had issues with getting Zone 2 input using cable connection.

I was looking for a smaller receiver and this one fits.

Receiver oozes quality right down to the feel of the knobs as you turn or push them. The sound that comes out of this receiver is nothing short of perfection, for the amount of watts it is supposed to be rated for..sound much bigger. and fuller. Very happy with the purchase.

I love the receiver. It has many HDMI inputs and I love the blue tooth feature. Marantz has excellent customer service if you need any help in setting the unit up.

In purchasing this product I was told that it would out perform my present Pioneer Elite unit which it doesn't. It has a clear tone and fits in well with my system but doesn't provide the same level of sound that my Pioneer did.
