This amp is off the charts on functionality and cool factor. The associated app is easy to use and there are many input sources to choose from. it would get a 5+ if just based on that. It would be a clear 5+ star rating if it just had more power. Don't get me wrong, for a normal day of chilling on the patio or in the pool it is just fine. But, when you want to crank it up for full-on party mode it just can't hang. it clips out at not-that-loud levels and takes a while to come back on. Even at lower volumes it can't drive the bass that i would like. It is not the speakers, they work and sound great on more powerful amps. Okay overall but it really needs more power.

Bought this to replace an older M-CR603. The 611 is quicker to boot up, quicker to connect (for almost instant-on Internet radio) and has a few extra features like Bluetooth. It retains bi-amp and AirPlay capability. However, like its predecessor, the networking can be intermittent at times, both in being found/connected by your network and by other devices on your network. It seems to disconnect and reconnect for no reason. Yes I downloaded the most recent firmware. Other than that, it's great.

Great unit- basic and simple to use with a poweful and sound

Wifi compatibility is super convenient. Great aesthetics. Easy to set up.
