Sound coming from the Marantz is 10x cleaner than my previous pioneer on the same speakers. Having built in spotify helps me quite a bit with broadcasting and jamming out!

This is my 5th or 6th marantz receiver I've owned, 2nd of the slim line series. They are very solid receivers. 50W/ch is great for bedroom or smaller rooms.

I use 4K OLED tv, 7.1 audio, 4KBlu-ray, and vinyl records, ...Blue Tooth, international internet radio, satellite TV and SeriusXM radio. Yes I use it all and I like the ability to SWITCH from BIG SOUND to "little" sound... as in using TV speakers. This thing handles it all. What does it lack? It lacks EASY INSTRUCTIONS. It is like they are rationing words! Instructions are on line and they encourage support calls. I prefer well written manual. Best Buy staff is excellent. Audio/video staff includes true experts. Eden Prairie MN experts are beyond expectation.

I love my new Marantz receiver. It has everything I need and the sound quality is totally awesome. The price point was spectacular for what I got.

I needed a quality receiver which would cover 2 zones in my entertainment system. Works Great and like the slimline design!

This receiver does exactly what it says it is supposed to do play music or audio from tvs and movies at a quality sound

Good system, easy, but you have to turn the volume up substantially for loudness and to get the right settings or the surround overpowers the dialogue.

This Marantz receiver was a breeze to setup and connect my wireless network. Also like the form factor, it's only 4 or 5 inches high so it fits better into a tight space than most of the competing receivers. I would have given five stars if it did not require an external pre-amp for my phonograph.

We had the geek squad set up our TV and receiver. I wouldn’t have been able to program Alexa to turn on or off the TV by myself...,lol. This receiver is great. No problems!

This Marantz NR-1608 has exceeded my expectation. wireless,Bluetooth, air play. whats not to love!! Would buy again. No regrets. Thank you best buy staff for your guidance and expert knowledge.

This receiver is really great. The smaller dimensions allow it to fit into existing cabinet. Fits with speakers. Lots of options for setup.

We needed to update our AVR and a buddy that installs systems recommended this. We're happy.

This unit did not work well with my TiVo mini. It kept losing the Somali and I would have to turn it off and back on to get the signal back. The same thing happened with the similar Denon unit. The Yamaha I replaced it with doors not have this problem.

My wife more recent Bose and my noise canceling Bose will not work with this crap. Also we just got a Samsung 75 smart tv and connected it with the ARC HDMI and it was great for 4 months then watching a movie this past weekend we heard a click-click and then NO SOUND out the speakers. Video but no sound. spent $400 for the Geek Squad and they will not come to look at it. VERY VERY UPSET!!!!!

Great receiver for a very reasonable price. Marantz continues to have great sound, I would highly recommend.
