We bought this receiver with our new TV to stream music, and hook up several speakers for a surround sound. Very easy to setup and has a nice sleek design which we loved because it doesn't take up a lot of space.

I bought this AMP to go with my B&W 685's and they truly work great together. It gets more out of my speakers than the Yamaha or Dennon competitors. I wish it had a few more features and hookups but for a 5.1 home theater system used solely for cinematic experience it was just what I needed.

Great receiver for my Martin Logan system. Super compact, easy to set up and use. My speakers sound great and the receiver doesn't take up much room at all.

The Marantz is ideal for an advanced home audio system. It has preamp outputs for the front channels and a sub out also. The Audyssey tool to calibrate the speaker levels is an excellent option to be included with the receiver.

This is a great receiver! The automatic volume adjuster is the best thing ever, so when watching a show the volume is turned down during a commercial. Also, the setup for the speakers was really easy for adjusting our surround sound,.

This receiver was recommended by the staff at Best Buy to replace a Denon that I had been very happy with. I needed a new receiver to meet the needs of a new Samsung Smart TV. The Geek Squad installed it and made sure I understood how it operated. So far, it has been extremely easy to operate it using the remote. The Geek Squad tells me that it is the brains of my system and I have not been disappointed with its performance.

Needed a mid range receiver for master b room. Needed it to be shorter in height to fit in tight space. One of the only ones I could find. Ez set up. Enough features to tweak sight and sound. Running Polk Monitor 75T speakers. Sound great. Theater in the bedroom. Usually go higher end, but this receiver does the job. Wouldn't use it for the theater room, but good enough for a secondary location.

Once the geek squad (Nate) installed all the products and explained exactly how all would be working, I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

Easy set up great sound. No iPod port so I upgraded to the 490. Great slimline for small places.

My TV room is nothing huge, a standard California room (about 14'x14'). For a room of this size, this amp is way more than enough. It has great, clean sound and all my movies and video games have a wonderful, rich sound.

This is a great receiver that is easy to setup and provides a capability to equalize the speakers included in the self-directed setup menu.

I just love this receiver. I was thinking about a Denon and have thought about them for awhile when I came across the Marantz. The THD was very low and when you turn up the volume it comes alive and sounds awesome!
