So far so good. I've had many AVRs over the years and so far this one has quite a few features, fantastic detail and clarity, and really makes my Klipsch towers shine. For what it's worth, I've got four klipsch towers, and center running, with an SVS PB-2000 Pro. It can get loud enough to be painful, but even at low volume it shines. Great unit.

I'm no audiophile, but a very nice unit. Easy to set up, from the Audyssey calibration to the straightforward menu choices. I set up 5.1.4 Atmos set up with 4 ceiling speakers, easy and pre-out for Zone 2 speakers, not as straightforward and not too well documented, but with some tweak and play, figured it out. This appears to be a very "automated" unit, not too many parameters to tweak or manually adjust, the "optimal" sound and sound field is chosen for you, which is fine by me, it's really plug and play. Video also is good, don't have an 8k display so couldn't test that. HDR10 and Dolby Vision passes through. Don't have any other HDR sources to check. From what I can hear, clean sound, loud enough for my purposes, and no distortion. ARC is separated from HDMI control, which is nice, my previous receiver to use ARC, you had to have HDMI control ON which didn't always work right or controlled and switched what I wanted, so... Could do 11.2 or 7.2.4, but didn't try because don't have optimal set up for those additional 2 speakers. Can't recommend this unit enough, and affordable for what it provides.

This receiver exceeded my expectations. I'm upgrading from a similar device before Dolby Atmos existed, and have been relegated to the downmixed/compressed version of Dolby Digital coming out of the optical jack on my TV. The difference in fidelity is noticeable. Beyond that, the improvements in room correction are significant. I don't have a proper home theater but rather a basement rec room/media room. There are notable improvements in staging, speech/dialogue, and overall dynamics of movie tracks. I'm not sure the upscaling is any better than my TV's. But, one point to note if you're upgrading: this upscaler does not take 480p input. So, if you have an older game system, you'll need to flip back to 480i and let the chip in this receiver do the de-interlacing. This wasn't well documented, but the receiver's UI made it clear when I tried. Network and app functions are nice and simple. Plethora of inputs and outputs for future proofing.

Perfect for smaller speakers, needs external amplification, if you really want to drive towers to irresponsible volumes. The reason it has preouts. Easy to setup and calibrate.

The product is fine. Bestbuy had me by this one even though I had a model 2 years old. The surround wasn’t coming on. I had geek squad come to my house 3 x and each time they tell me something different to fix it. Then they suggested the above. I bought it and their guys come and basically said I didn’t need it but he could not fix the problem. Told me his boss would call. Waited 2 weeks for now call. Went back to KCO audio. They sent out a technician who figured it out in 5 minutes. Bestbuy is really messing up

Great receiver. No issues. Easy to set up and fine tune my surround speakers. Plenty of power for loud stereo listening through my big Kef towers too. The best part is that I play it with the Sonos speakers we have in other rooms.

We purchased a Marantz SR6015 receiver. We always thought the problem we had was with our speakers, but with this Marantz receiver, the sound is excellent. We are enjoying every minute. I highly recommend this unit.

Marantz SR6015 AVR is really special that does an excellent job handling video to our LG C2 TV and getting the most out of our Bowers and Wilkins 700 series speakers.

I have yet to see where 1600 dollars got me that I wasn’t already getting from my 7 year old av receiver. I know I have a lot to learn but the basics are no better. The remote control is flimsy and I have to literally be right in front and close to the receiver. I replaced the batteries but made no difference. I hope Marantz provides me with a real remote. Display is tiny. In a nutshell, I made a poor decision.
