I've been a fan of Game of Thrones and Vikings for a while, Marco Polo is about the period of China under Mongolian rule (Kublai Khan, Marco Polo, etc). t has good drama, production value, dialogue, and epic fight scenes. You won't be disappointed if you're a fan of historical drama. Season 2 just started on Netflix, time to binge watch again lol.

I was pleasantly surprised with the content and performances. I liked this a lot and look forward to future seasons. My only other problem is the DVD case I got this in had all the DVDs stacked on top of each other. I don't think that a better designed case would be too much to ask for.

Marco Polo series has a good quality production and creates story lines and characters are really interesting, I would say that anyone who enjoyed historical shows like Rome, Borgias or Tudors would enjoy this show. Overall outstanding historical drama, can’t wait for season 2 which I think will be available on July 2016.

My husband and I spent an entire week watching each episode. Each night after work the first thing he would ask is what time we would be watching. Great story with action, intrigue, and romance. Sometimes a little too graphic, but we both enjoyed.

Slow start that builds and sucks you in until the end. Well acted. An engaging series that can lead you to anticipate the second season, which was a disappointment, maybe I expected too much? Cheers.

This series is well written, acted, and very entertaining. It has multiple story lines, is full of drama, action, intrigue, suspense and even moments of humor and levity. Cinematography is gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Who knew the life of Mongols were so suspenseful and exciting? This is such an enjoyable series to watch. It is very gripping. If you like Game of Thrones, then you will like this series as well.

This is without question my favorite Netflix original series. I like it so much i purchased the blu Ray DVDs. I'm still awaiting season 2 of this pilot. Great action, story line and cinematography.

Even though it is not historically accurate, the great acting makes up for it. Starts slow in the first episode, but once it moves along, it has many twists and turns to keep it suspenseful.

Beautifully photographed story of plotting and intrigue on both the Mongolian and Chinese factions surrounding the tale of Marco Polo in his Asian adventures.

A well cast, well executed historical drama concerning the Italian in Asia's time of Kublai Khan. Interesting story but sometimes dragged just a bit.

Great show. I watched this when it first released on Netflix. Its entertaining and interesting to watch. I don't know how historically accurate it is but it is great to watch.

Got this for 10 bucks at Best Buy so did not want to pass up the deal and it's not that bad of a TV series not one of my favorites but still good

This show was a real surprise the quality is everywhere the story, acting, locations all a first rate job.

Watched it on Netflix but when saw it for $8 in sale during Thanksgiving, couldn't resist getting a copy, a wonderful series. Can't wait for 3rd season to start.

After many disappointing attempts to dramatize the adventurers travels and exploits this one can be depended upon to deliver the goods!

I enjoyed the characters, period costumes, martial arts can't wait to see season 2, sorry to hear it was canceled after season 2

This was another series from Netflix that I ended up binge watching the whole thing in a few days. The acting and story is great. Worth a watch.

Marco Polo is well written. The characters are interesting and the plot keeps your attention. Makes for binge watching. Can't wait for second season!
