Great game for the Switch. I played Mario Golf on the N64, this game has that same feel but builds on it and has great new game modes and ways to help make the experience better with modes such as speed golf, battle golf, and adventure mode. I would recommend this game for all switch owners!

This was my first Mario Golf game and I am not an avid golfer or really into golf, so that being said, I still really enjoy it. The game is incredibly accessible and the Golf Adventure campaign really teaches you the mechanics of the game quite well - though I don't think it's a hyper realistic game. It is just simply fun and well worth it to novices like myself.

it's Mario Golf, I've had it pre-ordered for months, have been playing the heck out of it since launch, it's awesome :D Some tweaks from the last Mario Golf game that I played, but it still is as smooth as butter. The new game modes are interesting, and add a new wrinkle to what isn't always the most exciting sport.

I love this game! So addictive and fun! The game play is smooth and can go from easy to challenging in a second. I really like the adventure mode too. I could say a lot more but I don't want to spoil anything else. This is a must own in my opinion.

Classic Mario golf with some next gen touches. If you liked the classic Nintendo game you will enjoy this. Fresh new look classic feel. A must for the Mario collection.

Overall, this game is fun. The motion controls are great and speed golf is fun to play with friends. Haven't tried online yet but I'm sure it's fun as well. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is local play being limited to 2 players and you can't use motion controls in adventure mode. Perhaps not worth it for full price but definitely pick it up on sale if you like golf games.

Game is ok. The Golf Adventure you take your mii character and level them up is about a 8 hr adventure. Gets a little annoying running around for 5 mins between talking to people. Game does have have a cool XC Golf where you complete 9 holes in 40 shots. Go from green of one whole the fairway of another... Doesnt have the arcade feel of the N64 Mario Golf version had...

The game is good, and I'm really glad it's getting its share of free updates. But there's just something about it that's forgettable. Compared to its console predecessor, Toadstool Tour, most of the courses don't have as much personality. The Super Rush mode is cool, but I don't like that it inexplicably came at the cost of modes like Club Slots or Ring mode.

DO NOT SLEEP ON BATTLE GOLF. I got this for Mario Golf nostalgia, it has that for sure, but is quite a bit deeper of a game than I was expecting. Would still love to see more courses, but per Nintendo those are coming. The real treat here is battle golf with friends, or vs the computer. It's the best, insanely fun, and we may have wasted several days going at it.

Great game for the whole family to enjoy. Takes a little bit to figure out all the tweaks to make your play more accurate, but even our 10yo can figure it out. Would totally buy this game again or for another family. There is typical golf rounds as well as a story/adventure mode for one player.

This is an awesome game for those looking for a fun, light experience. The golfing mechanics feel great, and the game physics always felt accurate. And while there isn’t much to the story mode and not that many modes available, what’s there is great for both single and multi player experiences.

For a golf game it's really good, however compared to other Mario Sports games it doesn't hold up. If you are looking primarily for a golf game, this is a good one, but there isn't much longevity after that. We tried the golf rush mode with friends, however they quickly lost interest and we switched over to other party games.

Fun game for family friendly golf for multiple players!

Great game still. Graphics are amazing in HD, in addition with the new characters and courses. However, classic play just doesn’t feel like the older games. I wish they would have kept it the same way. Rush play is super fun and adds a new way of playing. I still highly recommend this game!

I've been playing this game for a few days now and am absolutely loving it. Standard golf is a blast, as is the new speed golf. Battle golf is...ok, but it's my least favorite mode. My only real gripe is the motion controls. I find it incredibly difficult to accurately get the power you're aiming for. To get full power, I find myself practically throwing my arm out. I've tried numerous methods and watched several YouTube videos, but the motion controls just aren't working well for me. Also, the addition of a tournament mode would be a great addition. Overall though, I'm loving the game and would recommend to others.

I have owned all Nintendo consoles and Mario golf games that released on them and this one has to be the best one yet. Game is even more fun when you play against your friends for some friendly wagers

Great game if you love playing golf! There’s a good amount of content so far and more to be added later. If you enjoy golf and wanna play against a couple friends get this game. There’s also an option to swing the joycon like a golf club which is a nice addition. I recommend this game for sure. 8/10

The added element of being able to sandbag your opponents with the special shots is the main thing that separates this from other golf games. The characters and colorful courses add a lot of charm too. I wish more of my friends were into this game--the online multiplayer experience is fun, but I have nobody with whom to play.

I bought this for my Dad who is in his 60's for Christmas. He says he loves it and plays it more than his other golf game! Id say it was a great purchase!

I'd do 4 and a half stars if I could. This is a super fun game and ine of my favorites from the old Gamecube. The new one looks great, plays great, and has lots of cool modes and courses. I'm just not a huge fan if the speed golf aspect. But luckily, you can play without it.
