Best live Mario Kart game! My son and niece love playing!

Great game, really cool AR tech that brings Mario Cart to another level. Not your "classic" Mario Cart but as close as you can get with something like this, but if your looking for more than just another game this is a great buy! Takes some time at first to build a track the right way getting the angles correct, etc. but that was part of the fun of it. It makes you think and get a little creative which is probably why some might not like it ;) Battery life on the cart could be better if playing with other people on one cart (or better yet a removable battery to charge another while playing) but a couple hours on a charge for one player is great. Just make sure you don't have skittish cats or lazy dogs that want to sit in your race track path! lol Game also has GREAT potential for future updates!

Is it fun? Innovative? Worth it? Yes, somewhat, and it depends. At first it will take some time to get used to the way the car moves, and the slight lag between what is on the screen and where the car actually is. This could be mainly due to perspective, and networking issues. I had issues with the video when my Switch was docked until I moved it a few feet away from my router which is installed on my living room TV Stand. The actual races are different enough when you factor in the obstacles and gate changes to make each race unique. My main drawback is the actual gates and barriers. They're cardboard. Cheap, not very durable, corrugated cardboard. For $100 these should be plastic or at least have a decent lamination. If you have pets, or a toddler, these will get damaged quickly making the investment a loss as you cannot play without all 4 gates at the least. For a product marketed toward "Everyone", which includes younger children, this seems like a very serious design flaw that should have been corrected before launch.

If you have not gotten this for yourself or kid it is a must have. Very fun.

I bought the Luigi home circuit for my one Grandson for Christmas at his request and he and his brother has had so much fun with it that I had to get the Mario one so they could play together at the same time. They have had a ball, as well as their dogs watching and chasing the cars through the house, lol. I've definitely have gotten my money's worth. Highly recommend.

At first glance these rc cars appear very slow and clunky, but that is because they start out at the 50cc race speed and you play through the game and unlock higher speeds. When driving the cars through the switch it is actually a lot of fun. One of the more enjoyable things to do is driving through a group of people walking and trying to avoid getting stepped on.

This was a perfect gift for my sister and her boyfriend, they love it!

When I first got this, it was fun setting it up and playing a course. However after 2-3 games it got a little old and frustrating to set up. Unless you have a LOT of room you will be very limited to what you can make. It would have been nice to have the karts support outdoors where there’s lots of room. I haven’t touched my setup in months and prefer playing mario kart 8, but this concept has a lot of potential. Really wish they also had more kart characters besides mario and lugi.

More fun than I thought it would be with the family.

Super fun for anyone that enjoys playing Mario Kart on any Nintendo console. Kids, adults, any age. You need lots of room to fully enjoy it, the wider the courses, the less crashing. The only negative I can think of is video lags unless kart and switch stay within 15 ft of each other. I bought 4, for my 4 boys, 3 switches and 1 switch lite.

This is an amazing game made to entertain the entire family, gamers and nongamers alike will be blown away by the new augmented reality displayed on switch. A simple but ingenious product to make mario kart literally come to life, its best with another live multi-player and I hope they make other racers, as yoshi and peach are deeply missed.

We were luck enough to get both the Mario and Luigi karts and this has been a blast to play with. Both karts interact well, but the range is limited, so don't be too ambitious with how big your track is. Other than that, this is a lot of fun and an awesome continuation of the Mario Kart series. Definitely worth the money for it.
