Fun game ! Turn your home into a race track. The car also works on its own like a remote control car !

We bought this one for my kid who is home from college. We had played Mario Kart with his Switch before, so we knew we would enjoy the ability to create tracks in our home. What we didn't know was how much fun we would have with it. The setup is quick and easy. The kit comes with 2 directional arrow strips and 4 numbered gates. The remote controlled kart has a built-in camera that gives you a first person viewpoint and charges via USB-C port that is somewhat hidden but slides up to reveal the port. A very short charging cable comes with it, but I opted to use a longer one I use to charge my pro controller. You do have a limited range but that's OK since it is so much fun to run through the course using random items to create obstacles. The added plus was that our cats found the cart so amusing that they became obstacles as well as participants in the races! We have had so much fun watching them interact with the kart and how they look on TV. We actually loved it so much that we also got the Luigi version so I could compete in races against my son and sometimes the cats. No regrets even when you get the message saying that poor connection has been detected if you go around walls or obstacles ( like box tunnels you can create yourself). Highly recommended!

A must have if you are a true Mario fan. You will need space but it is worth this. Fun for the whole family

Exciting, bring back memories of playing Mario Kart on Nintendo 64, just more advanced. Love how interactive it is

So much fun!! The camera on the car is surprisingly good- even in low light. The kiddos were driving this around when we had some family visiting and they wanted to buy a switch just because of this remote control Mario Kart Live game. Definitely worth it if you buy it on sale, maybe not at full price. I found it for $60 and I would 100% recommend it at that price.

While it's pricey at $100 and comes with cardboard elements, you can see where the money is going. The tech at work is really impressive, and I'm still not sure how your kart can feel like it's being affected by wind, drifting, etc. However, I don't know if this is a game with a lot of staying power. While there are plenty of things to unlock, they're mostly cosmetic. And since track variety is dependent upon the player, I could easily see this becoming a showpiece that you only get out every so often instead of something that stays in constant rotation, especially when multiplayer and any sort of character variety depend on how deep your pockets are.

I'm not going to lie. What sold me was some clips I saw of people playing this with their cats and dogs hahahaha! But really, it is a lot of fun playing whether you got pets or not :D It's very responsive and frankly I don't see any cons, except... where do you buy the extra cardboard signs if you break one?

More fun than I thought it was going to be. It has high replay value due to lots of unlockable items like karts, race outfits, course themes ect. So it’s like regular Mario Kart but with augmented reality and just as fun. The rc car runs great. It is affected by in game weather and attacks (ex. actual rc car drifts sideways during windy conditions or stops when attacked). The rc car has 4 speeds 50cc - 200cc. It boosts when using a speed up item in game. Track set up is very easy. The same track layout can be used for the 3 races in each trophy cup. The theme changes. The physical track layout can be remapped in between races, which only takes a few minutes. But you do need at least a 10x10 ft area for a small track. All in all the game itself is really fun. The rc car is well made, runs great (I am using it on low length carpet) and the in-game effects translate well to the rc car.

Amazon game. It adds a new level of excitement to refresh the Mario Kart experience. We have been playing it nonstop and even bought a second Luigi one for multiplayer. It lags a little and the video from the camera onboard the kart is a little blurry but that doesn’t take away too much from the experience. Highly recommended if you own a switch

The car may seem slow, but look st your screen and the AR effect creates a great illusion of speed. One star off for the cardboard quality, but other than that, a great buy.
