Ok, if you're thinking about getting this game, stop thinking and go buy it right now!!! It's worth it's price at $50 and it's soo fun. I play this game all night and day.. To me its the best wii game ever.. My friend recommended it to me who also is addicted. The graphics are just like gamecube, awesome, the sounds are cool too, and the control is easy to learn.. The levels are really cool and there are new ones too. New carts and characters. I love how you can play online with people you don't know or just play with family and friends. The only bad thing about it is i can easily get addicted.. Honestly, if you have a wii and you enjoy exciting games, get up, turn off the computer, go to the store, and GET IT!!!!!!! You will be glad you did..

Great great game. This is the type of game the Wii was meant for. I'll be the first to say i've been supremely disappointed with the lack of quality Wii games out there. However, this game is at the top of the bar when it comes to available Wii games. It's fun for everyone, including non hardcore gamers. A lot of these reviews are written by guys who don't leave their rooms until they beat a game or who camp out to buy the latest release. I couldn't be further from that group and I still really enjoyed the game. My wife (who NEVER plays video games) loves it too. it's good when playing alone OR with a big group. If you're playing with a big group, be sure to have enough Wii Wheels, or have someone bring over theirs. Hope you enjoy the game

I have been a Mario Kart fan since the Super Mario Kart first came out on the Super NES. Then I was a fan of Mario Kart on the 64. Then I was a fan of Mario Kart on the Gamecube. Now there is the Mario Kart Wii. Big selection of characters to choose from, great control with the Wii Wheel, all new power ups, tricks, tracks, carts and the motorbikes! The game makes really good use of the Wiimote. The graphics aren't that much better than the gamecube, but that really didn't bother me. The sounds are what you would expect from Mario Kart. Better yet, the Wii version is online ready! Join the WFC or play against a buddy over the internet. The WFC puts players against total strangers all over the world to compete."

Mario Kart is a fantastic game! It has all the old charm with new twists. I prefer the wii mote and nuncuk combo esp. for tracks like rainbow road. The wii wheel does not have as much control. Online Play is fun, yes there really is no convo between players but it's nintendo! All in all, great game and worth the money.

This game for the Wii is really fun. You can earn different courses to race on and new characters! This game is worth buying. And the steering wheel can be used for any Wii racing game! Great buy!

Very fun game for players of all ages! Anybody can play, the Wii Wheel is fun to use. Many different courses to race. You can also connect to the internet and race against friends. Very good game!

We tried this out on New Year's Eve with another couple (all of us 50-somethings). After a few rounds, we were pros; laughed and raced till midnight. Game is pretty straight forward - pick a character, pick a vehicle, race around increasingly difficult tracks dodging obstacles. Can be played as individuals or on teams with other Mario characters. The courses were fun and exciting, with chances for power-ups to go faster or slip up other racers. On some tracks you can fall off into the abyss, but are gently replaced on the track so you can keep going. This is the best Wii game we have tried. Wheel is totally unnecesary; just tilt the Wii controller up and down for steering.

I played this game a lot on Super Nintendo and while this version has better graphics, more cars and better tracks I'm extremely disappointed and shocked that there is no way to unlock anything in multiplayer mode. I'm not the type of person that can sit down and play hours of video games by myself. I only play with friends. I'm shocked that Nintendo let this get past them.

omg one of the best game wii games ever!!! lots of characters, old and new tracks, mini games, but only two. very challenging, 4 levels of difficulty, online compatible, i highly reccomend it

This game is now my favorite to play for the Wii system. I originally thought that one wheel would be enough but playing with the wheel was so much fun we decided to get another one. My fiance' and I play this game often and have so much fun with it. I thought at first this was going to be too easy of a game but once you start advancing in the game the difficulty of the game increases. Some of the tracks are similar to the ones in the original game which is fun but there are also many new exciting tracks. I recommend reading the information first because it tells you how to do some tricks and things that boost your speed while you are racing. Love this game!

Racers, start your engines, grab the wheel (unless you use another control type) and get ready for the race of your life. Now with added characters, Mario Kart Wii is a must buy game. Now you can even put your Mii to use. Even though they probably sound like slippy from star fox, it is a great character. They added characters such as your Mii with the option of a mario outfit, Funky Kong, Rosalina and other characters. The gameplay is great and has the Wi-Fi feature so you can race people around the world. Despite waiting for a race to end, it's fun playing against people around the world. This is a must buy game for all racing fans or if you just love mario.

This is probably the best playing mario kart to date. It has a comprehensive track listing with a good collection of classics and great new tracks. The online and local multiplayer will keep people coming back. The simple trick system and integration of motorcycles really add to the experience in a good way. The one downfall is the rubberband effect when too many good items appear that completely change the race and, at times, punish a solid driving performance by hitting the first place person repeatedly. Multiplayer is great, as usual and there are plenty of tracks and characters to unlock. A great playing, comprehensive entry into the long running series.

This game is a blast!!! It's fun for the entire family and for all ages. If you don't already have this game, you need to buy it. This game is best played when you get on the WFC where you can race your other Mario Kart-owning friends. But it's just as fun to play others from all over the country or the world. But if you just want to play the game disc without the WFC, it's still loads of fun. The only other con for me is that it can be costly when you have to by addtional steering wheels. But there are cheaper versions of steering wheels out there. Or find other games that also come w/ a free steering wheel. That way, you get another driving game.

This is by far the best mariokart game I have played. I bought it the day it came out and the entire family loves it. The online gameplay is great and tournaments are fun. The extra features include previous tracks from all the other mariokarts which is a blast from the past. The new karts and even cycles which blew me away. The fact that you can now due tricks is an added bonus. You can even race with your mii, who ever thought of that pure genius. Plus all your favorite characters are back, including some new ones and new attacks. I say buy it if your a fan of the series. I can't wait till they make the next mariokart, what will they think of next?

I just got this game and its fun!!! Theres alot of characters to choose from and its good for any age group. Its better when you play with other people or go online with it.

This is best Wii game! The steering wheel that comes with it make it's that much better. Lots of tracks,characters,karts,bikes!

I'm a big fan of the Mario Kart Double Dash game so I was really looking forward to this game. I was not disappointed. The game incorporated a lot of the original courses with updated features. The only thing that wasn't so great was the wheel, it can be a bit uncomfortable on the wrists after using if for a while, fortunately the game is also compatible with gamecube controllers. Overall this is an exciting new game with courses that have definitely outdone those on Double Dash.

This is the best Mario Kart you could ever buy. It is fun, it has new things to it, and playing it on the interactive Wii gives a really nice touch to it. In this game, the computer players are so humam like, you won't get bored playing 1 Player! However, it is really fun to play with the whole family, for it is a GREAT family or solo game! The favorite thing is that you can play as your Mii (as in your little guy or girl you make yourself) on it! The only thing I don't like is...well, sometimes it could be HARD! And sometimes it could be EASY! Either way, it is a great game for a ages, and you will have a blast!

The mario kart game is very fun and has many great races it also has many of your favorite characters and i really like the great feature of the wii wheel that is included, because it really helps the gaming experience to be funner. This a very fun game and recommended.

I have been a fan of games for a long time, let alone Mario bros. My whole family enjoys Mario Kart Wii! There are amazing courses, crazy power-ups, challenging levels, and a simple yet fun format of racing that anyone can play! you could be a little kid, a working adult, or a grandparent, either way, i can almost guarentee you will like this game. I have played bloody games like Grand Theft Auto and shooting games like Halo, and they are all very interesting games. But this game stands out as one of the best games i have played so far. There isn't any violence or obscentities. it's all just good clean fun!
