Okay so price hike on games not fun but this game, if you are in to racing games and driving game is great fun...I find it easy to play but maybe hard to master! I am still working my way through the 50cc races and after I complete a cup then I like to free drive and they have challenges in the world when free driving that feature adds a good amount of value to the game.

Mario Kart World on Switch 2 delivers stunning visuals that bring each track to life with vibrant colors and detailed environments. The great cast of characters shines, especially the unique penguin and cow, who add fresh personality and charm to the lineup. Overall, it’s a fantastic racing experience that feels both familiar and exciting with its visual upgrades and memorable characters.

Great game overall but the intermission maps are just ok in my opinion. Still have over 40 hours in it at the time of this review and plan to play more.

Can't go wrong with mario kart and new mechanics to change up the kart formula. they need to work out some of the things to improve from mario kart 8 and more nintendo characters and not just mario.

I was irritated at the price, and after a few hours the credits rolled, I was not happy. Then the fun began. Unlocking cars, costumes and the open world feature. You can spend hours driving around exploring the areas when not racing. Plenty of mini games Actually gives you a feel for what the next Mario mainline game will be like.

Mario kart world is the next evolution of Mario kart it is super fun and if you’re looking for one of those games just to enjoy yourself yeah friends and family that play the online free room. It is so amazingly fun. Me and a few friends have been enjoying it tremendously I would definitely recommend Mario kart world

I have played every Mario Kart game. This one is special and unique because it makes you feel like you're on a big journey during free roam and knock out tour. The levels by themselves are also fun, but this one is unique that you can drive around and explore wherever you want!

Let me first start off by saying this is simply a great Mario Kart game. The Knockout tour is a blast, grand prix is as fun as always, and the unlockables are fun. But this game is NOT worth the $80 I spent on it.... at least not yet. My hope is that Nintendo supports this game with DLC updates throughout the years, which I believe could make it worth the $80 I spent. As it stands right now, I would advise waiting until it goes on sale or grab a used copy for cheaper.

i was excited for the next-generation Mario Kart, but Mario Kart World feels like a great racing game strapped to a disappointing concept. The core racing is solid with the new tracks and the expanded 24-player chaos, and the soundtrack is a standout. However, the open-world map, which is the game's main new feature, often falls flat.
While it's neat that all the circuits are connected, driving between courses in Grand Prix can feel like a dull, drawn-out road trip with long, wide, and sometimes empty stretches. The Free Roam mode is fun for a quick cruise, but it lacks compelling content or rewards to make exploring worthwhile for long periods. It's an excellent party game when friends are over, but the single-player experience and the open world that was promised to be a major innovation just don't have enough substance to keep me engaged. The game has great bones, but the execution of its biggest new idea is a miss.

If you buy a Nintendo Switch 2, I feel like you HAVE to buy this game. It's almost a requirement. And that's not a bad thing. It's just really good. My family has been playing this game off and on since we got our Switch 2 a few months ago and we're still finding new locations in the open world side of the game!
