I enjoyed practically all the new minigames introduced in Mario Party 10, especially those that let you play as Bowser. However, the Bowser Party mode definitely has room for improvement, as the playing field often feels skewed in Team Mario's favor. Other than that, this game is pretty fun to play with your friends.

It's a lot of fun with lots of modes! Be warned there is a mode that requires amiibos so be sure to have some to get the full use out of this game.
Also no online play makes me sad :( could have been a great addition and in 2015 to not have online doesn't make any sense to me. But it it what it is and it's a great game.

My favorite Mario Party games will always be those on the N64, but as far as updated, user-friendly, mini-games go, this one is pretty good. I'm excited to see where the WiiU will take the franchise, since it has the added feature of a gamepad. The Bowser mode here was ok, but definitely favored him in the end.

Always a Mario Party fan. Disappointed with new gameplay, would be better if went back to original gameplay, without the boat/cars that allow each player to move together. Do enjoy playing as bowser and new bowser games, but not sure why Nintendo decided to stop playing mini games at end of each turn.

If you've played previous Mario Party games, you know what to expect. Simple yet fun mini games that the whole family (even little ones) can enjoy. Games are quick (sometimes a little too quick) and the mini games are fairly fun, with a few standouts that my kids really enjoyed playing.

When it comes to Mario Party.... its not much of a solo game, at least that is how I feel. Its a great game and deserves to be picked up for sessions with friends and family. It's a little different from other Mario Party games now that you have the option of having someone control Bowser.

As always Mario party has been an exiting game for the Nintendo franchise and this one does not disappoint. Although I was waiting for maybe online board play with others. Mini games are a lot of fun with the new bowser game mode. Overall great game to play with your friends and family.

The game is a beautiful update on the original games. The graphics are really nice. The gameplay is a bit constrained though as the group all travel around the board together. The purpose of the Amiibo's also seems a little constrained.
All in all though, I say enjoy and have fun!

With Mario Party 10 marking a huge milestone in the series, one would expect this title to be some sort of grand showcase for the series. Unfortunately, it's just more of the same, and actually manages to feel stripped down from previous installments, with fewer board maps and game modes available for play. The game also uses the same "travel together" mechanics from Mario Party 9, so if you weren't a fan of that, be warned. Fortunately, the minigames hold up and are much better than the ones featured in MP9, and even feature the return of 2 VS. 2 minigames.
Overall, the game just doesn't feel like it had much care or effort put into it. It can still be fun, but even when playing with friends it may not hold your interest for long.

A parent's perspective on MP10

MP10 is definitively targeted for a young audience (12 or under). For adults playing alone or with all adult friends this game is certainly lacking. But some of the things that make it a poor choice in that situation make it great for those playing with young children. I have a seven year old and this has quickly become their favorite game. We have Super Smash Bros, Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, .. and others but this has become one of the ones he uses the most. For that, Mario Party 10 offers screaming, jumping, cheering fun. A lot of criticism focuses on traveling the board together in a vehicle. We do not have previous Mario Party experience, but traveling together does not bother us at all. This, as with the chance nature of a lot of the game and mini games, allows my seven year old to compete right along without feeling like he has no chance to win or that he is constantly falling behind.

You would think after 10 Mario Party games you would get sick of this game, Not so. The new Bowser version really makes the game interesting and unpredictable and the new mini games always make you itching to play more and discover the ones you haven't played yet. They have gotten really creative with the mini games on this one with things like paintballing. I highly recommend this game.

This game continues the trend begun by Mario Party 9, in that all players travel together in a vehicle toward the end of the board. The boards are a bit slow and lacking in variation in gameplay (in all three modes), but the minigames are where this game shines.

My kids really enjoy the mini-games and especially playing as Bowser in Bowser Party mode. Only downside is the the that you cannot use the pro controller or share wii controllers, so number of players is limited to how many wii controllers you have.

I actually got this game for a nephew so I'm relying on his reaction for this review. If you want a traditional old style Mario this is not it although it is like MP 9. The collection of mini-games is good and this game will entertain younger players.
