Very Good, Fun Game

This game is a fun game to play with a group. It has several modes. In Bowser Party mode, up to 5 people can play. Mario Party mode and Amiibo Party mode allow up to 4 people to play. Because this game has more modes, none of them feel complete. They are all fun, but the minigames and maps feel too similar. I hope Nintendo puts out an expansion to this game.

This game is a fantastic multiplayer, like the rest of the Mario Party series. I take away a star because Nintendo completely missed an opportunity to integrate another 8 player experience because they opted to use last generation Wiimotes for motion controls. Once again, Nintendo didn't think outside of the box and instead stuck with past successors.

I remember the first Mario party in the franchise for Nintendo 64. It was fun, but the game time lasted for hours.
This newest edition to the franchise cuts the game downtime down to 30 mins, which is a plus! The game also introduces a new feature to use amiibos. In the amiibos board game version, the game tries to mimics amiibos as actual figures of a board game that you'd have to tap against the game pad to roll, stop the dice roll, and confirm your moves on the board. It's a cute idea, but the implantation is awful when you have to pass it around between friends in a living room.
Other usage of the amiibos lets you use your other amiibo characters, if you're an obsessive amiibo collector, to get a chance for "scratchers" that awards you coins. These coins are basically in-game currency to buy and customize the game.
The mini games of Mario party is the strongest feature. It's still fun to compete with friends with the ridiculous mini games.

I haven't played MP in a while but it has definitely changed. Don't get me wrong the minigames and getting a bunch of friends together is still fun, but the actual boards don't have that same competitive feel. Everyone moves together in some kind of car. So no more splitting up and going your own way. This style works in the new Bowser mode though. One person plays as Bowser on the pad and tries to destroy team Mario in the car through Bowser mini games. It's a lot of fun but prepare for some of your friends to rage quit haha. The Amiibo thing feels like a cheap add on compared to the rest of the game. If you get together with friends a lot I would get this game. But if you're more into single player I would stay away.

if you like mario party then this latest edition pretty much fits the standard formula. one neat aspect was a return to the more traditional board game (take turns) format with the inclusion of the amiibo mode. not breaking any real new ground, but a fun family/party game that can swing wildly with random chance.

Good, not great entry in the series. The unified movement of all players is somewhat odd and not a favorite mechanic of the people we've played with so far. The mini games popping up less often is actually something that we also were a little disappointed with. That said, Bowser mode is a FANTASTIC edition.

The poor Amiibo integration is disappointing to say the least. They have their own incredibly simplistic game mode, and aren't used in the regular or Bowser Party modes, which are considerably more fun to play.
Fortunately Bowser Party is a blast to play and almost completely makes up for this.

I'll be honest; I was hoping for more of a mini-game / WarioWare experience with this (but for multiple people), rather than a Wiimote waggle fest. (Especially considering how poorly MP9 was received.) That said, it's still fun to play with the family, and the included amiibo is a nice touch.

Mario Party 10 plays well for the whole family, even those as young as 4. While the minigames rely on skill, the program *seems* to go out of its way to make random chance a fickle mistress and even out the score so that by the end of the game no real player gets pasted. My kids get frustrated sometimes when Bowser Jr. swipes stars but they stick it out hoping to get those bonuses before the end of the game.

People really got worked up over the "everyone in one car" mechanic in 9. I don't think it spells the end of the series or anything, but this game has less maps than 9 did, and the extra modes added do little to make up for it. Some of the minigames are fun, but many are hindered by unresponsive motion controls or movement on a d-pad that really needs an analog stick. Overall I'd say you can still get some fun out of it, especially with friends, but it probably won't last long before you're tired of it.

This game is a great installment of the Mario Party series. More importantly this bundle is a must buy for anyone that has not been buying other amiibo figures because a mode in the game requires an amiibo to unlock and begin playing. Amiibo party mode is fun to play withif you have kids since they get to see their figures pop up in game and hop around the board as if playing a real board game.

Mario Party fans are a critical bunch and haven't been ecstatic about the series for a while. Mario Party 10 isn't going to change that, but the game is worth looking into. The new mini games and Amiibo functionally make it both an interesting and fun entry in the series.

We bought this to play with our family. It is easy enough for a child to grasp, but fun enough to keep an adult entertained. I would recommend for friends coming over to play or for parents with children.

If you enjoyed previous Mario party games this will not disappoint you! The game is super fun and the amiibo features add something different offering something new.
Bowser Party is really good you will enjoy it specially when having as many players as possible.
All the boards are fun and even playing one person is fun but of course is not the same as having the whole party!
