I couldn't identify the differences between this and the old version without looking them up. If you already have this on disc, then don't feel like you need this version.

The revisions artistically make minor improvement to the overall enjoyment of the GF series. It is fun to compare the original vs the "upgrade". I've enjoyed BOTH, but prefer the original.

The Coda is the superior cut of Coppola's final chapter to the Godfather trilogy. He trims the fat and rearranges some scenes to make the story flow much better. If youre a Godfather fan then this cut is worth having in your collection.

A bold new look at the conclusion of Michael’s story. Tragic, but necessary to set balance back into the universe. Regardless of the reasons for doing evil, you must reap what you sow.

I was excited to see this re-edited version godfather three and although the final result doesn’t quite elevated it to part I or II, it is certainly an improvement worth checking out.

Not much different from the original. New beginning and ending is just a fancy way of saying cutting and switching around footage we have already seen. A few scenes have been added and subtracted, however it has not altered the end result. Original or Coda, neither should have been made. Mario Puzo's The Godfather is still better as a duology than a trilogy. SERIOUSLY, I want the Televised Novelization on Blu-ray. At least most of the actors and actresses know how to perform even with the occasional bad dialogue.

This recut is a better version than the original but not close to Godfather II. It's worth watching to finish the storyline.

I watched this yesterday, and found the new version had cut many of the extraneous scenes which were unnecessary. Coppola also rearranged scenes so things flowed better. I kind of enjoyed the original III but this one I really liked. It gave closure to the Corleone family.

Good movie with interesting cut, changes up beginning and end and scenes throughout. Does it make it better than original version? Not sure, fans will want to see it though.

In all honesty, the new cut is basically a new assortment of scenes rather than new unseen material. It improves the watch, but it's still no GODFATHER or GODFATHER PART II.

Definitely an improvement over the original cut of Godfather III, but still the weakest of the Godfather films. Regardless a must have for Godfather fans. Check it out!

After so many years, The Godfather Saga is finally complete. Francis Ford Coppola has accomplished what no other director has done. I love this one even more than the previous version that was released in 1990. 10/10!!! “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.”

I went to best buy to look at routers and ended up finding this blueray i didnt even know they had came out with. This is an all time favorite movie of mine and the new resolution of the quality of the dvd is great!Recommend purchasing this if you are a Godfather fan.

looks good. sounds good. was this really needed? not really. it's okay. i'm a film buff and completist so decided to get it. if not, it's not really worth your time.

Godfather I and II are two of the greatest movies ever and the original third was a disappointment. This cut is much better and the story line is more enjoyable. Still doesn't meet the first two's greatness, but a better version and recommended for Godfather fans.

Not really that different from the original, but I do like the ending better. Worth getting to add to your collection if you have the original Godfather movies.

Director's cut of Godfather III with improved picture quality and sound. Not quite as epic as the original two films but a worthy conclusion to the trilogy.

Coppola’s original vision come to life. New scenes were interesting d and me the film Is made better with the director’s new additions.

Although this movie is not as good as Godfather 1 and 2, it is worth watching. Great to have the intro from Francis Ford Coppola about his edits.

They've made this a palatable and watchable movie. The godfather part 3 doesn't suck anymore... If you can forgive Sophia's horrible acting. Overall it's a wonder this wasn't the original edit. I can in fact recommend that people watch this movie now.
