As someone who was hesitant to pick this game up because it had rabbids in it, this game has been a wonderful surprise. I originally bought this game because I travel a decent amount, and the game good very positive feedback. I was hooked on this game in the first 10-15 min of game play, and it has only gotten better since. The atmosphere, and level design is fantastic. The combat is fast, fun, challenging, and lets thank whoever made a fast forward button to speed up enemy turns. The skill tree, new characters, and weapon unlocks are all motivations to help keep the game fresh, even when you are grinding. The story is charming, but with nintendo doing so many mario games it is growing more difficult to create all new villains, and the rabbids aren't really villains on their own. Only aspect I dislike is that when you aren't in combat you are lead by a new character called "beep-o" and your party follows behind beep-o in a conga line. It can look a little funky to me for some reason. Overall this game has been fantastic, and I can find very little to complain about. In my book this is an essential game for anyone who own's a switch. Highly recommend.

Love This Game! Honestly, The DLC Is So Good. The Game Also Has A Pretty Decent Story Along With Creative Combat. There are some puzzles to solve on the map and also challenges. The game was pretty hard at some points but I don't mind because as long as you buy good weapons and are smart about it, it's not too hard. Overall It Is Really Good. The length of the game is decent (especially counting the DLC). The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the pricing, the game is good and all but I don't think 60$ is that worth it. (The DLC Price Is Reasonable IMO Though). The Rabbids Are Also Pretty Funny and The Difficulty Is Just Right. The Versus Mode and Buddydome Are Also Really Cool. The Thing Is I Bought The Game On A 75% Off Deal On The E-Shop So That Is Probably Why It Is So Good IMO. To Summarize It Is Really Good And I Would Recommend Buying It (Especially if it is on sale.) So Yeah I Would Give It 4.5 Stars.

First time playing a game like this. I bought it because it was one of the first big name games I found on sale after I got a switch. It is not what I would consider a traditional Mario game, as its a turn based strategy plus some puzzles rather than world exploring/action. It is very easy just to play a short level or two in just a few minutes, so that's a big plus as I don't feel like I have to sit down for a whole game night. The battles can get repetitive as there are 10 levels within each world, but as the game progresses you get access to more characters and tons of different weapons and abilities to play around with, so there's always something to tinker with. I'm only halfway through the game, but it seems pretty easy so far. I've rarely lost a battle, and probably 95% get the highest ranking. More difficult are some of the challenges that you gain access to once you complete a full world. Those are often turn limited, so they pose more of a challenge. So, overall easy game to progress through, more difficult to get towards 100%. Haven't bought any of the DLC yet.

While I enjoyed Mario Odyssey, I'm not the biggest of Mario fans. I'm also not a Rabbids fan. However, the gameplay really shines in this game in a category that Nintendo is typically sorely lacking in which is the turn-based action RPG. Most compare it to X-COM which is a pretty fair assessment, but with more cuteness and Mario goodness. Overall, I would say it's a must buy for Switch owners, which really Zelda and Odyssey are the only other games on that list. If you don't own this game, go get it. It's not for everyone, but I think most will find it to be quite entertaining.

I heard this game described as X-Com Lite before I decided to buy it. I've never played X-Com, but I have played games like Advance Wars and Bleach:3rd Phantom and the play style is very similar. Turn based, grid movement, set amount of actions per turn, lines of sight and directions matter. This game is perfect for the Switch given it's strategy play style because it's very easy to pick up and put down. It's not overly complicated, but has a high ceiling for strategies depending on how much you want to put into it. The game allows you to redo your skill trees at any time so you can experiment with player abilities (almost unheard of in games). I've finished the campaign and have started some of the post game challenges and they can be much more difficult if you want more challenge. The multiplayer is a lot of fun and really simple to play. The Switch makes it a breeze to sit down with a friend or family member and crank out a quick match. Can't recommend this title enough if you have a Switch, especially if you catch it on sale. There's tons of value here.

Initially I wasn't sure I was going to like this game. Rabbids are pretty horrible things, but combines with Nintendo characters it's been surprisingly fun to experience. The game eases you into the tactical combat nicely in the first world, but after that it gets harder pretty fast. Great game for strategy game lovers (think Final Fantasy Tactics, XCOM and Disgaea)

You cannot fault the work Ubisoft has done with this game. They took the license they got and did an incredible job translating it to the game. The strategy is great, the story is good, and the graphics are charming. Think of it like a Mario themed XCOM. Recommended.

I didn't know what to expect at all, but figured with the claim of over 50 E3 awards and nominations I should give it a shot. I was certainly not disappointed. This has been one of my favorite games of the year. It's only flaw is timing, Coming out between two of the best Mario and Zelda games of all time is a difficult place to be. If you're looking for something else aside from Mario and Zelda, this is a definite must have.

Got this super fun game for my kids for Christmas and it was a hit in the house. After a few continuous hours of play it does get a little boring but for small kids it’s great entertainment.

Both my 5 year old and 8 year old love this game. There’s not very many games they “bond” over, but this is definitely one of them! They love both franchises so it was an easy buy.

For the record, I’d never played a Rabbids game in my life before picking up Mario+Rabbids: CB. It’s absolutely astounding to play. It challenges you, but it makes it seem like those puzzles are logically founded by having you replay them until you pass them or just retrying later to get more stars. It’s not for everyone, but if you do like strategic games or want to get into them then I can think of no better game.

This a different style of Mario game than I'm used to. While I'm not really into the battles, the graphics are great and keep in true Mario style. I'm still enjoying the game, especially at the great price!

When this game was first announced, I rolled my eyes and said aloud, 'Nintendo, what are you doing?'. Then, I saw the first trailer... I have been hooked since. The gameplay is stellar, and the visuals crisp and 'Nintendo cute'. Most people will find the tactical, turn-based action new, but you are brought through the ropes slow enough to ease you in for the harder challenges down the road. I highly recommend!

I was surprised at how addictive this game is. The first few challenges are essentially tutorials, but the challenge does ramp up and that's when the game really begins. Don't let the cute exterior fool you, this game does get challenging. There is also a dose of exploration that yields rewards. It's great that Ubisoft was able to capture the essence of Mario while delivering a tactical, comedic, and fun adventure into a small game cart!..awesome game hands down!
