I wasn't even interested in this game at first when I heard it had rabbids in it. I heard from someone that this was a tactical RPG. Once I heard that I decided to give it a try since I really enjoy that type of game. I'm glad I decided to pick it up, its actually allot of fun with the right amount of challenge. Not too easy, not too tough. If you like games like Fire Emblem, you will enjoy this.

I've always had a sweet spot for these types of games. They have many ways to play them and still come out victorious. Whether it's head on combat or tactically eliminating one enemy at a time, it's fun times. And the difficulty curve is just right in my opinion. Very good game for the Switch.

I was surprised at how addictive this game is. The first few challenges are essentially tutorials, but the challenge does ramp up and that's when the game really begins. Don't let the cute exterior fool you, this game does get challenging. There is also a dose of exploration that yields rewards. It's great that Ubisoft was able to capture the essence of Mario while delivering a tactical, comedic, and fun adventure into a small game cart!..awesome game hands down!

I pulled the trigger and bought a Nintendo switch bundle on Black Friday and needed some games to go with it. A bought a handful of games, this one among them. I figured I couldn’t go wrong with a mario game — and I was definitely right! I have loved playing this game — I finally beat it today after a little more than a week of playing. I can see how people might find it repetitive as it’s a tactical game, but I felt like they threw enough obstacles in there to keep it interesting, and it definitely got harder as you went on. Even though I’ve beaten it, there’s still lots more to explore and do. I’m going back to each world to do all the challenges currently, and there’s four secret levels to find in each world. I’ve really enjoyed playing this game and would definitely recommend.

Mario and the rabbits are funny in this game. This is my first time playing one of these games and I’m enjoying it so far. Might get the newer one depending on how this game goes but so far so good.

Overall I really enjoy the game. Although the main story line gets a little bit repetitive after a while. Although when that happened I did like to switch to doing challenges rather than continue the story. Also I sort of wish they would have made more incentive to switch up the characters in your party, as I've tended to stick with the same ones for large chunks of gameplay. Besides that, the environments, sounds, music are all fantastic.

    Great Intro to Xcom

If you're anything like me and liked the idea of Xcom but disliked the fact that your cast was made up of custom units with no actual personality, you'll probably be right at home with Mario+Rabbids. The rabbids are endearing at best and mildly annoying at worst and, on the plus side, if you REALLY hate them, every enemy is a Rabbid so you'll have ample time for revenge. As far as gameplay goes, it starts off relatively simple as it introduces the player to the mechanics, but rewards those who pick up on them quickly and most matches can be ended pretty fast with appropriate play. For harder stuff, the challenges can be, frankly, challenging at times and the base difficulty of the game's standard worlds does ramp up over time where, if you're going for perfect runs, the game can certainly creep up on you if you get caught sleeping.

This is a good strategy game - think Xcom lite - elevated by the inclusion of Mario and Rabbids characters. And the Rabbids are actually the most positive surprise, all of them have good abilities to help clear the maps AND they are hilarious. Don't let any previous bad feelings about Rabbids get in the way of playing this game. Def recommend to any strategy fan.

When I first heard that Mario and Rabbids would be in the same game I wrote it off as something I’d never touch. As time approached for release I took another look. What I assumed would be overly Rabbids ended up not being the case. This is a refreshing and entertaining take on turn based strategy. There are plenty of comedic points and a well balanced battle system. I recommend this for any strategy fan looking for switch titles.

I found this game to be fun and challenging. It does have replayabilty and it is quite hilarious. I like it because it is easy to pick up and put down when traveling or if you just want to game out for hours you can do both.

    Final Fantasy Tactics with Mario

The summary says it all: this game feels a lot like Final Fantasy Tactics to me, though without the grid system. That's not a bad thing at all, but do be wary if you aren't familiar with FFT that this is not going to be at all like a traditional Mario platformer. It's a turn based strategy/role-playing game, and while I like that, it's not for everybody.

An Odd Yet Terrific Mash Up

When Nintendo and Ubisoft announced a strategy based adventure that featured a cross over in the Mario and Rabbids universes, a lot of people kind of balked at the idea. This is though, quite an excellent collaboration. It's funny and has charm without relying on cheap tricks and it's graphics and gameplay arenas are top notch. It would be a mistake not to have this 20+ hour adventure in your collection if you own a Switch.

To be honest, i hesitated for a long time to buy this game. I seriously thought it was going to be lame. I had a huge misunderstanding of how the multiplayer worked, and i am so glad i was wrong!!!! I can't put the game down!!! It's sooo much fun! It's honestly one of my top favorite games!!! The humor in the game is fun, quirky and goofy! Seeing the teamwork of Mario and the Rabbids franchise is an awesome move with ubisoft and Nintendo! With the huge variety of weapons in conjunction with the dlc, and the added characters with the dlc, and more, i honestly recommend this game!!!!
