With friends it is good, but alone it gets old fast

Reminds me of the mario tennis from gamecube. Good game, nothing spectacular after you play a few rounds. The solo play tends to get rather easy and repetitive. Can be fun with friends if they know how to play, otherwise there is a bit of a learning curve.

Good but low on contents, gameplay makes up for it.

Bought this for my 7 year old son. He wanted it so bad! Played it for about an hour...it was way to hard for him. I played it, it was fun but it was also pretty hard at times. We went back to Mario Odyssey.

Easy to start, Hard to master, fun game though!!!!

The gameplay is very fun and the graphics, music and menus are stylish and polished. But... there’s a lot of things that feel missing. Characters, game modes. They are adding free DLC as the game goes on, but it all should be in the game at launch.

This one of those games where there is a lot to learn in order to master it, I Feel the single player mode does not make you want to spend hours playing. I like to play with others and this game may pair you with players well beyond your skill level.

My daughter kept begging me for this game so I finally got it. She played it for about 5 hours and hasn't touched it again for weeks even though she promises she likes it. It's Tennis with weird mechanics to keep it interesting. Meh?

Fun game of tennis, enjoyed by kids and adults. Many interesting special moves and a large amount of the Nintendo characters we all know and love.

I bought this on launch day believing it was a AAA title. It's not. The gameplay is good but overall this game is rough around the edges. It's missing collectibles or anything that entices you to play anything other than multiplayer matches.

Bought it play with my daughter. Enjoying the game but a little hard for little kids. Excellent visuals and seems to have a deep play system, need to spend more time practicing.

I was hoping for motion controls with the joy-cons like what was possible on the Wii. Sadly, you can only use button controls for this game. It's fun, but could be way better.

It's a good game but not as good as the previous games. The adventure mode isn't as fun as I was hoping. That leaves the gameplay and it's very fun. I just wish the single player stuff was more fun then it turned out being.

Not the best Mario tennis. Of course it is tennis, how exciting can you make it? The kill shots make this too easy and story mode not challenging enough. Good game to rent for a long weekend otherwise avoid
