Customers enjoy Mario Tennis Aces for its fun and exciting gameplay, great overall performance, and character variety. The control scheme is effective and the game is easy on the eyes. However, some customers feel that the difficulty increases rapidly and that the game could use more content, also mentioning that it has a learning curve.

As a tennis fan, I really like the gameplay associated with the game. The main story is subpar, and even though I found myself no longer playing after a couple of weeks, I really enjoyed this tennis game. Rent it.

I prefer this game over Mario Kart, only because it has a plot/story to win characters like Smash Bros. My nieces love it.

Should have waited for a deep sale, gameplay is fun but there's nothing to do besides play online to unlock characters early. Single player is boring and you can only play as Mario. Not worth full price...

Ok game today, but not a great Nintendo sport game

This title started off slow, and then eventually content got added. I found the AI to be annoying to play against, especially the pirate ship with the mast at mid-court.

I’ve played several Mario Tennis games on multiple platforms and this game was fun but not great. It seems like Nintendo copied the same storyline as super smash

Didn't really interest me much as I thought it would. Played few matches, the UI seems clunky to me. Might have better appeal for people who play online more. Traded it in after owning for few weeks.

Tennis? With Mario? Yes, it's a silly premise, but it's a lot of fun and will draw you in with good game play.

Mario Tennis Aces is a fun game, but know that it has limited content and the learning curve is steeper than previous entries. It's a fun party game, but will leave single player folks wanting more.

It’s different from what you expect from a Mario series game. It’s an ok alternative if you want to try something different. Kids will enjoy but adults , it may depend on the person .

I purchased this game as a gift for my younger child. But it’s so fun that parents can join in the fun.

Extremely fun tennis game, but very light on game modes. You can only play a short adventure mode, against computers or online. I would wait for the game to go on sale before picking it up.

Very fun, but definitely something missing compared to the other games. Wish it was easier just to get it and play with my kids immediately, too much RPG for just a tennis game.

This game plays good but it really needs more content. Its not the kind of game you are going to play like day after day after day type of game and its single player is really short.

This game is for Mario fans. The game play is fairly easy and more realistic than some of the other Mario sports titles but i prefer the ea sports games. The kids seem to like it

I had high hopes for this game and was a bit disappointed. The story is very lacking and the online lags, is not on dedicated servers. Kept it for about a month before selling.

The tennis mechanics are fine but the campaign/story mode is more frustrating than it is fun. If you are coming mainly for the single player campaign I would rethink the purchase.

So, I like my Nintendo Switch. And I have a nostalgic connection to my childhood favorite Super Mario games. But like this Mario Tennis and Mario Party games for Switch, I was left feeling slightly disappointed. It’s not that these games shouldn’t be in your Switch collection, because they should because they offer great multiplayer fun. It’s just beyond that, that is all that they are, essentially party games

Its a good tennis game. I am just interested in playing tennis, not to much interested in the story mode.
