Mario Tennis for the Wii U was disappointing and felt rushed, so I was cautiously optimistic when this was announced. This game is very fun and is well worth the pick up for fans of Mario sports titles. The visuals are great, it has a nice roster that continues to grow, and it controls nicely. The story/adventure mode is an extended tutorial that will keep you entertained while you learn some of the finer points of the game.

I love mario and mario tennis is a game that reminds me of the 64

If you are a fan of Mario Tennis (most similarly to Mario Power Tennis on GameCube) or even other tennis games such as Wii Sports, you will love this game. It has classic, polished tennis gameplay and adds a new layer of depth with new mechanics! You are able to play with or without the new mechanics, so you have the option to play whichever mode is to your liking. A great game to play with friends and guaranteed to be a blast!

This has been a fun game for family but a little complicated for my younger kids.

Well put together game, but not much fun if you're playing alone

It's exquisite, I got it on sale and it was great for the price just $35. I've always loved Mario and Tennis. The two combined is super cool especially with their updated tennis outfits and the graphics. Motion controls really get you up and moving. Perfect for any Mario fan with a Switch!

Awesome family game. So much fun for the family to play together

I was a big fan of the original Mario tennis on the Nintendo 64. It was a game that was easy to pick up and play, yet hard to gain a mastery of it. Very competitive. The Mario tennis for Wii left a bad taste for me. This Switch version reminds me a lot of the original and is very competitive and great for 4 players doubles matches.

If you're expecting the same cut-throat benders of the Wii era, think again. This didn't have the same experience I remembered from Wii, but it was fun for a run through. I purchased on sale, and don't think the game offers a better value of $30-40. I ended up reselling my copy as we didn't play it.

A great game for a great system. Enjoyable and for everyone.

Amazing! Tennis at its finest. Nintendo really polished this gem well as the next installment in the titular sports series. The only neutral comment deals with the storyline which was so-so but, true to Nintendo approach of teaching-as-you-play, did do a wonderful job of allowing the player to learn and even become proficient at the new skill shots.

Had all the kids waiting to play this game .It was a BIG HIT
