Ghosts are people, too even in the UK.

Marley is a successful District Magistrate somewhere around 40. She also sees and talks to ghosts! This is a revelation caused by her husband’s death. His ghost is soon joined by that of Marley’s lover. Then the ghost of the Vicar shows up. (The Vicar presided at her husband’s funeral and shortly thereafter caused the traffic accident killing herself and Marley’s lover .) As the four adjust to living together tension, confusion, and some significant yelling by her husband result. The neighbors are somewhat confused, too.
This starts an O.K. sitcom and evolves over 2 seasons into something significantly better. Writers and actors develop the personalities into very real people. Plots become more complex. As the shows progress more ghosts and more family members show up. All of this in a British suburbia not much different from our neighborhoods. I am sorry the show ended. By the way, Marley is also pregnant.
I would recommend this to a friend

Watch this on television. Found out that Best Buy carried it at a low price for complete series.
