Excellent bluetooth speaker my office worker amazed small but big sound.

Bluetooth speakers are so plentiful in the market that you really have to have something different I think to set it apart. The unique look of this Marshall Emberton is what got me interested in this speaker as it eschews the traditional round shape and gaudy colors of many of the market leaders in bluetooth speakers. This one looks classy and really cool and with the name Marshall behind it you would think it sounds pretty darned good as well. I'm happy to report that is the case for the Marshall Emberton. The Marshall Emberton is about as unpretentious as speakers get, with a very simple setup that allows you to get to using it without any hassle at all. Setup is as simple as charging it, turning the speaker on and then going to the bluetooth settings of your phone or tablet and linking it up. That's it - there are no apps or anything to download. My first music I tested this with was some Black Label Society and then some Judas Priest and the sound was amazing, even at high volumes there was no distortion at all. My only slight concern was the bass was a little outclassed by the mids and highs so I wondered if rap and hip-hop would struggle at all. My next test was some classic hip-hop and of course I played some 2Pac to which I was relieved to hear the bass kick in and absolutely no distortion whatosever. I continued to try all different types of music and found that everything sounded very clear and very good no matter whether I played it at low, mid or high volume. Now this speaker is really loud, no doubt about it, but it's not going to blow your mind either. But for it's weight and size it can really fill a decent room. This speaker will be an excellent speaker for us to use on the porch to have some drinks and other areas and with it's small size and long run time on a charge I think it'll likely be my go to speaker going forward. I'd recommend this without hesitation!

Love the sound. Much better than the Bose that I had! However, it takes a bit long to shut down, (have to hold down button for 3 seconds!).

What a tiny little speaker can produce! You will be shocked when you hear this little gem; you will want one right on the spot.

Amazing sound quality. Easy to setup. Only complaint I have is regarding the connectivity. Sometimes the speaker disconnects from my phone and connects to my wife's phone and vice versa. I am not sure about its frequency but we've faced it twice so far.

Great sound, amazing build, solid Bluetooth connection at a competitive price with one MAJOR ISSUE..... If your planning on using this little speaker with a computer or laptop and plan to use it for Zoom or other online video conferencing apps... this speaker will drop the connection after sharing a video.. even when confirming the emberton is the audio output; still doesn't work. You have to turn it off and turn it on again in order to work.. additionally if you disconnect and connect you'll see EMBERTON twice in your bluetooth list.. so you end up not knowing which is which.... this is suchhh a major problem..not sure how MARSHALL didn't test this... anyhow, maybe their next will work.

Bought this just for doing chores around the house, but now i take it outside and sometimes to work its awesome

Got this speaker on sale for $99.99 during Christmas. Great deal and awesome speakers. Marshall is a good brand speaker. Sound quality is great.

Decent sound for its size, doesn't really distort at loud volumes. Horrible Bluetooth range. Can't have the source more than 15-20 feet away before the connection gets choppy or completely drops.

Bought to replace my (6 year) old jbl flip 3. Better sound quality and bass. Also love the brass button and logo.
