Growing up as a Metal Head in the 80's (when there were actual great musicians that didn't use backing tracks or auto tune), Marshall was the standard amps on stage. These headphones continue the Marshall tradition of the wall of sound. Comfortable headphones, stylish, and the sound is amazing!! I'm so happy u bought these for myself! I also own the Marshall Motif II A.N.C earbuds. I will always rep Marshall!! Bose blows...

The Marshall Major V headphones were a very pleasant surprise to me. I can’t give objective measurements to back my impressions, but subjectively, music just felt very “alive” while listening to them. In short, they were a joy to listen to. They aren’t perfect, and there are some features lacking that could take these to the next level, but overall, there’s a lot of like or even love about these.
The headphones are of an on-ear type and have an attractive retro look to them, with the iconic Marshall logo emblazoned on the outside of each side. I found the headphones pretty comfortable for extended listening and not fatiguing, with sufficient padding on both the headband and ears. The left side has the configurable Marshall button, which by default is set as Spotify Tap. That’s my standard music platform, and the feature worked well–it launches into a music playlist based upon your preferences. The right side has the USB-C charging port (though wireless charging is an option as well) and the 3.5mm audio jack (both a short USB cord and a long coiled audio cord are included). Also on the right side is one of the best features: a small metal knob that acts like a joystick. I really liked this interface: rather than a complicated set of flat touch panels like some headphones use for on-device controls, this one is simple and intuitive to use because it’s a physical object to touch. You can use it to raise and lower the volume by moving up or down, or move through a playlist back and forth moving side to side, along with clicking it to pause.
The good ergonomics are matched with fantastic battery life. They’re rated up to 100 hours and while I didn’t time things, the battery dissipates incredibly slowly based on the Marshall app's battery status indicator. Especially with the wireless charging option, keeping these powered should not be an issue. Within the app, there is a battery preservation setting that allows you to adjust maximum charge, charging speed, or adjust the charging speed based upon temperature. I opted for the “standard” measure, which caps the battery at 90%.
The Marshall Bluetooth app is good and gives a fair amount of features, although it is not strictly necessary for operation. In addition to charge level and battery options, there are settings for the M-button configuration, power off settings, and of course, EQ. There are two EQ presets that can be configured. The first one is the standard Marshall EQ, which I found I liked overall the best. The second one includes a custom preset to adjust your own EQ curve along with presets like bass boost, treble boost, mid boost or mid reduction. Somewhat confusingly, the Marshall EQ is listed again in the second preset list. The M-button can be changed to toggle between the 2 EQ general presets from the default Spotify Tap, or be used to launch your phone’s voice assistant.
Across all genres of music, I just really loved these. As one might suspect, popular music, especially rock, sounds great. Dance music really benefited from the impressive bass output these have, while for classical music, it might have brought the bass up a little too much. But I was generally satisfied with its performance in everything.
A few misses: these lack noise canceling, which is a feature that I really love while traveling, especially by air. They also are not quiet in terms of the environment—my family said they could easily tell what I was listening to. And while these do fold up to be really compact, I don’t know that these would be my go-to headphones for travel, especially if flying. They also do not come with a case, which would’ve been nice to keep everything together (headphones, USB cable, and 3.5mm cord).
Those caveats aside, these headphones are my first choice for listening in my home now, supplanting some other very well-regarded models. I just like the way my favorite music sounds through these: studio recordings feel live, and live recordings feel like you’re there. That’s a very subjective review, but I suspect if you like classic rock and pop music, along with contemporary pop, you’ll really like these. I did some limited testing with video and found that I didn’t have any issue with lip sync, but I largely kept my testing focused on music. And for music, these were just splendid. Recommended.

The Marshall Major V Headphones are an amazing pick for those who want a small, simple, and great sounding set of headphones without being too expensive that can easily be carried around. One perk of these headphones is the fact of how small they are. I find myself easily being able to clip the headphones together and toss them in my bag as someone who commutes daily. The sound qualify itself is great, no matter what EQ setting the headphone is on, the music still sounds amazing.

Marshall headphones combine iconic design with impressive sound quality, making them a favorite among music lovers who appreciate both style and performance. Known for their vintage-inspired look, these headphones stand out with their classic leather and metal accents, giving a premium and rugged feel.
Sound-wise, Marshall headphones deliver rich, well-balanced audio with clear mids, punchy bass, and crisp highs. They tend to excel at rock and acoustic genres, staying true to the brand’s musical heritage. The soundstage is generally immersive, though not as expansive as some high-end audiophile headphones.

These sound great playing music & just as good when making calls. The call recipient says i sound clear. The app seamlessly integrates with my Samsung phone, so it's an easy set up. Headphones are comfortable although i wore them for a short period, testing them.

This pair of headphones is great has a very long lasting battery, comfort is good, and is very light to carry. They sound great for their size as far as on ear headphones can go. The noise cancellation can be okay at times

Love these headphones. It has the coolest sound when they turn on. Ordered them and wasn't expecting for at least a week and they ended up delivering early.
