Excellent speaker that supports Bluetooth, rca, and 3.5 audio inputs. If you want the best audio quality get a 3.5 mm audio cable. It goes pretty load and sounds great. They could have included a better manual as it took me a bit to figure out pairing. I paired straight to my iPhone I settings once I put the speak in pairing mode.

Marshall lives up to the standard again. Sound is good. Bass is awesome. It’s a loud speaker for as small as it is.

There are a fair number of nice sounding bluetooth speakers at many different price points out there, but there is something amazing and hard to describe about the sound quality of the Marshall Bluetooth speaker line that really sets it apart from the competition. I initially purchased an original Marshall Acton speaker after being drawn to the aesthetics and already being very familiar with the Marshall speaker brand from their guitar amplifiers which immediately caught my attention. I absolutely fell in love with that speaker and it still works to this day (maybe 5 or more years of faithful service). I finally decided it was time to step up to something a bit bigger and purchased this Stanmore when a good deal came up. and of course it lives up to the already lofty expectations I had for it based on my previous experience. I now use this in a stereo like setting by connecting it with my Acton 2 I also purchased along the way. The sound I mentioned from the Marshall line earlier is something richer. fuller, more natural sounding than the competition I have been exposed to, that any musician that will already be drawn to this will immediately pick up on and appreciate. If you listen to music that is created with natural instruments (Metal, Rock, country, alternative, blues, jazz, ect..) you will find this to really be a top choice. If portabilty isnt a requirement, I cant praise these enough, and if you do need portability go for one of their smaller speakers that surprising also punch above their weight class

Great but! I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality and power, a lot better than I would’ve thought based on the compact dimensions. Love the look and style.

This is an outstanding speaker, with a crisp and powerful sound, from the app (after updating the firmware) you can adjust the equalizer, the lights, select the imputs... Everything sounds great with this piece of art, from Yanni to Dire Straits to Bathory... It's just PERFECT!

The sound coming from this speaker has a lot of bass and very good treble. It also has quite a bit of power and will fill up a room. The stereo separation isn't that great and if you want that you can buy a second and set them up as a stereo pair like you can do with the HomePods. I have only have one issue with the Bluetooth connection cutting out but it is solved by restarting and re-pairing the speaker to your device. Also remember that it has to be plugged in and has no battery but in my application it is no problem.

Marshall know as "Father of Loud". One of the best speaker till date. The Marshall speaker is a popular choice for music enthusiasts. It offers a classic design with a retro look and provides a rich and powerful sound experience. Moreover, the Marshall speaker is a reliable and stylish choice for those who prioritize both aesthetics and audio performance.

Great bed side speaker, has a nice rich sound , and uses aptx for a codec which is a nice. The controls give it a nice throw back to the days where speakers didn't have all these flashy lights and buttons so it looks classy in a bedroom. Sound staging is nice, haven't played any hi res audio yet so can't completely attest but it fills my room with nice deep rich lows which I would guess fall into the 45ish khz range and the highs are not too tiny

I mostly listen to classic rock, hard rock, heavy metal and hip hop/rap. I like my music loud and bassy and I'm really impressed with the sound quality. I do notice a little distortion at high volume and high bass, but it has to be cranking pretty much at max for that to happen. Keep in mind that it has no battery and is not portable like most bluetooth speakers. I really wanted the UE Hyperboom, but i didn't really need the portability, and this was on sale. I couldn't justify spending twice as much for the UE.

Sound is clear and bass is punchy. Wasn’t expecting much from a relatively small speaker, but was I pretty blown away. Pretty much from the time I opened the package I knew this was a quality speaker. The craftsmanship and weight behind it proved to me it was quality. Once it was plugged in and playing music it continued to impress me.

Sound quality is good, though unbalanced and with a limited listening range. You have to be sitting directly front of it to get the best experience, and it’s definitely powerful on bass. Ultimately, I returned it because the app is useless and the coupling function never properly worked. It’s a good looking speaker but it doesn’t meet the standards I would expect from Marshall. So I spend a bit more and got a Sonos. Couldn’t be happier!

This speaker produces awesome sound. I am using this as secondary speaker in bedrooms.so far this is a very good buy. I have kept 80% -85% volume and watched a movie and the experience was really great. Didn’t sound like stand alone-speaker. Like others already pointed out, you need to keep minimum of half the volume to enjoy the true sound. At low volumes it’s not that great but once crossing that threshold it’s totally different.

Not without a few issues, but I still give this a five star rating due to the sound quality and look. I own many generations of the Harmon Kardon Onyx Studio series. This Marshall Stanmore II was immediately superior in terms of sound quality than any of the Harmon Kardon speakers. True, the Marshall is a bit larger and heavier but the sound and look are much better. Place it on a counter or shelf and simply enjoy superior sound. It does not have breakable legs like some generations of the Harmon Kardon, the Marshall is very solid and offers additional functionality. The issues? There are two: 1) You need to download the Marshall App to connect which is a bit of a pain. I prefer to simply connect without an App like other Bluetooth Speakers. In addition, the first Marshall Stanmore II I purchased would not connect to my iPhone. Marshall Tech Help was no help at all. Had I waited the days it took for their meaningless correspondence, it would have been beyond my return window. I am glad that I simply returned it to Best Buy and had a replacement shipped to my home. The new one connected properly with no issues at all. So keep in mind - you might get a bad one. 2) Every now and then it will drop Bluetooth signal. I will be sitting listening to music with the phone stationary next to my chair and the signal will just drop. It will reconnect automatically or you can reconnect yourself without issue - but it shouldn't drop. Otherwise, a solid, high quality unit that people always mistake for a guitar amp as it sits on my counter.

Hello there, thanks for your feedback. It is possible to setup the Stanmore II Bluetooth without the app, it sounds like the first one was defective. We are happy to hear that you are now enjoying the speaker.
