It’s not loud, but it performs well enough. The strap on the other hand I thought would be good to strap to my belt but the circle part of the rubber strap stretched out about 3 weeks in. So now if I move to much or sit down the strap undoes itself at least three times everyday.

The Marshall speakers I had always seen have been large so I was surprised to see that the speaker that I received was very small. After hearing the sound quality I then decided it was worth the purchase price..

What a piece of C**p. This thing will not, under any circumstances connect to my phone shame on Marshall for licensing their brand to a cheap tech product. Stay away. Stay VERY far away from this useless overpriced speaker.

Out of the box, it comes 30% charged, so you can start using it immediately while you make your connections. And it comes with a USB-C to USB-A charging cable for your future charging needs. There’s a nice quick-start guide that has instructions in just about every language you can imagine, and then some. This will help get you up and running very quickly. After connecting via Bluetooth to my phone and computer, I tested the unit, playing several genres of music. Everything sounded great and it was hard to believe that these high-quality sounds were coming from such a small, compact unit. There were no vibrations or tinny sounds, even at the highest volume level. Another nice feature I discovered is that you can control the volume using the volume controls on your phone. (One caution: you may want to turn off the “sleep” feature on your phone, or the music may stop when your phone goes to sleep.) This device can also be used as a speakerphone for your telephone conversations. You simply toggle it on and off, as desired. You can download the Marshall app if you want more control over your device (available for both Google and Apple devices). However, after doing so, I found the original settings to be just fine for my taste. One suggestion: While it may add a few dollars to the cost, I think Alexa would be a great addition to this device, since it would offer much more flexibility. With this Marshall Willen Portable Loudspeaker, you get great-sounding music in a very lightweight (less than a pound) compact portable speaker that you can take with you just about everywhere you go and that you can control with your phone.
