Amazing Bluetooth Speaker
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Marshall is synonymous with Rock Music, their amps have been around for 50+ years and are the pinnacle in rock and roll sound. So it's only natural that they would eventually take that speaker technology and apply it to bluetooth speakers. The speaker itself looks identical to a Marshall amp and comes in at a hefty 20+ pounds. You can connect either through the app or through your bluetooth connection in your phone. I tested this speaker out in comparison to my other bluetooth speakers in the house like a Bose Soundlink and Sony XRS and the Marshall blew all of them out of the water. I was really surprised by how clean and crisp the vocals were without being too muddled by the bass. The only thing I wish that this speaker could do is double as a real amp, but I understand why they probably couldn't make that work. It isn't by any means a very portable speaker so I'd recommend it for a backyard BBQ or pool area. But I can honestly say this is one of the best if not the best bluetooth speaker I've ever tested. If you're on the fence I would highly recommend buying it and taking the Marshall plunge, you won't be disappointed!

Big BIG Sound!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say, if you pick up a speaker and it is this heavy and doesn't have batteries you would and should expect good sound. This is perfect for my main living area. It sounds great and provides a fullness that smaller speakers aren't able to. I put this through all the standard music I use to evaluate with and really enjoyed the clear clean and rich reproduction this device delivers. Just a couple points on the down side. First I couldn't seem to get the thing to pair to my android phone without installing the app. Once installed be sure to download the firmware upgrade which gives you lots of control of the device including adding additional Marshall Speakers for potential house filling sound. It is possible to overpower the bass at higher volumes and by turning up the base as well. Still this sounds great - just seems strange it would allow you to over push that part of the frequency range. Finally, I was disappointed that there was no optical in with this model. For a speaker that is meant to be inside and "civilized" that would be a good way to connect to more traditional sources. All in all I really like this and know I will get a lot of enjoyment from it in the years to come.

Buy one and listen to it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing speaker, sound quality is very niche. You’ll need to play around EQ settings to get good results. Though Flat EQ is good enough for ambient listening. At mid to high volumes is where it really shines. I was testing it with iPhone 12 pro (no AptX), and and 60-70% volume it was loud - like very loud. IMO college students have much higher nuisance tolerance than suburb residents. My college neighbors complained about the noise 2 hours after I got the speaker. I was playing it at 60-70% with EQ adjusted for whatever kinda song I was playing. You get the gist it’s a very loud speaker while maintaining crisp sound quality. Not losing any sound to distortion. Maybe at 100% slight distortion - i don’t know if the distortion is a good thing or bad because it’s kind of Marshall Signature sound - but you’re probably never going to go beyond 70%. Speaker placement in my loft was important. Because depending where I placed it there was a difference in sound. Tho at higher volumes it doesn’t matter. The speaker won’t annoy your neighbors, rather will inspire them to call the cops.

Posted .The standby mode cannot be modified or disabled. If the Bluetooth is dropping out, please setup a new Bluetooth pairing with the music source and then move the speaker closer to the device it is paired with.

Marshall Bluetooth Speaker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the most awesome and sophisticated looking Bluetooth Speaker. Classic Marshall amp look with polished brass and stamped leather. The sound is phenomenal with excellent bass.

Another Level
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this Woburn 2 now for 2 days and im blown out the water by its performance, however i have one grip. Im playing my music through my smartphone and my smartphone eq is active and so is the Marshall eq. I know its only been 2 days since I've been trying to figure everything out, but im getting there. But other than the 2 eq active at the same time, i have no complaints...plus the smartphone eq has nothing to do with woburn's review, so i guess this speaker is 99.999% flawless

Great Buy

“Excellent “ Open Box incomplete & dusty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit itself is superior quality sound versus its peers/competitors. Low marks for misrepresenting that my online purchase was simply an open box return. Complete lack of paperwork and unit was obviously on someone’s shelf for some time, given the layer of dust nobody bothered to wipe off. Best Buy customer service phone rep, with barking dog making him even tougher to understand, suggested I drive to my local store and either return it or ask for the true “fair” condition pricing scale. Waste of time.

Where is the 1/4" guitar input?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A Marshall amp with no 1/4" input? I cant play my Hamer Guitar with Floyd Rose tremelo with it? What is the point. It is like advertising "I'm a cool dude. "Do you play?" Uhhhhhhhhhh play what? Everyone will know right there.....POSER. Abd the little speaker? No input for guitar there either. I want stereo speakers. That means 2 speakers separated by 10' minimim with each having drivers (or woofer) and a tweeter. This market has ruined stereo sound for a lot of angry players

Posted .Hello there, the Woburn II Bluetooth speaker is not an amp, it is made to play music from your smartphone, computer, tablet, etc. If you are looking for something to plug your guitar into, check out marshall.com. At this time, Marshall Headphones doesn't have any speakers capable of pairing and stereo output.

Tiny sound, finicky bluetooth and rude company rep
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tiny sound from a large, heavy and expensive speaker. I've had better experiences with Marshall in the past by far. Also the pairing via bluetooth with my iPhone was buggy and intermittent. To make matters worse, I reached out to Marshall directly for support and their customer service person (Ian) was rude and unpleasant. So many other, better options out there.
